I love watching VH1 Classic's "Metal Mania" and they break out some Warrant acoustic video. it's 2am, I have a buzz and want to rock and some tune like "When the ******** Cry" comes on. Get me a razor. Not for me but for the dumbass programming the channel

I dont think any of those groups really go around saying that they are metal. Theve probably all been labeled "metal" by others. besides the most metal thing you can do is your own thing and dont fucking conform to everyone elses mold. Metal was created by society's outcast (not the stupid rappers). Nowdays it seems like metal has become a conformist paradise of of elitist fuckheads who have become just like the elitist groups that they should all be standing against. The real posers are those who call others out for being so.
Now EMO is not metal its whining, and very much equivalent to the hairbands of the 80's its a flash in the pan.

The 3rd one down is hard to watch. As soon as the guitarist starts its just awful. Its a pretty simple song too...:crash::crash:

AMEN Spoken like a true Metal head. This is what metal is about doing your won thing. Thats why bands such as Pantera, Slayer, Kataklysim, Testment etc... have been around for a while they do their own thing. Metallica is one of them too, they completly bucked the trend and tried no things did it suck YES, but they did their own thing and they still kick any bands ass out there today.
