Yeah they pushed that in my area recently, I never even considered going. Usually when they advertise prices like that it's because they only have 1 or 2 left, and I'm not desperate enough to beat a bunch of idiots camping on the sidewalk for 3 days.

I got this from another forum:

Man, when I was in the CE business those dudes were super shady. Like Gypsy.

They basically call a manufacturer and say:
"I will buy all your B-Stock, refurbs, Buyer remorse, and obselcent inventory for $30,000 a truck load. We don't give a fuck what's in it. Just fill up a truck with at least X number of palettes."

They already know at a minimum, they will see a 3x return on the money invested on just the items. It doesn't even include what they make at the GATE when they charge $5-10 a head to get in the door.

Then they take it to a Central Warehouse in the middle of America somewhere. Chop it up, and then set-up these 3-day Liquidation Shows.

No warranty is expressed of implied. It's cash and carry and you are on your own.

They were just here this weekend in Chicago for 3 day "liquidation sale extravaganza".

I'm pretty sure you will find the street hustlers and non-legal immigrants at these things buying up all that shit so that they can resell it yet again on street corners or out of car trunks.

Ummm not really especially since there is not anything really worth buying which makes this a scam and just for your information the people running this are more on the white collar side but I guess that would be ok by you then ???
