I don't think people expected anything else from him really. I do think that Pacquiao needs to be punished for declaring himself fit to fight and then clearly being injured afterwards since it probably meant the result was a foregone conclusion before he stepped into the ring. Perhaps it would've been the same result if he was 100% fit but he took the fight on when injured and then used it as an excuse when he lost so he doesn't deserve any sympathy IMO.

He may not be in the top three, but sure as hell is in the Top 25. He's a terrific counter-puncher and one of the truly great defensive fighters ever. You don't have to like him personally and you may not like his style, but in the ring he shuts people down. Pacquiao could not have beaten him on his best day.

This fight was just terrible any way you look at it. It was vomit in a boxing ring. MMA much better sport.
