Voted Marvel for the movies, the DC movies suck except for the first two Dark Knight, and the first Michael Keaton one. DC rules animated series though, the DCAU was great as was Young Justice. For the comics I started with Marvel, but then started following writers like Peter David, Mark Waid, and J. M. DeMatteis.

Phil, are you sure it was Turok, Son of Stone, and not Arak, Son of Thunder? Turok started in the 50's or 60's at Dell, Western, and Gold Key comics before Valiant revived him in the 90's. Though come to think of it I think DC published some of those old stories as back up features in the 80's, so you are probably correct. Arak was Roy Thomas' work at DC in the 80's.

Both comic lines kind of suck now, DC constantly rebooting their characters, and Marvel with yearly cross overs with all of their titles.

I love DC's characters. I grew up with Batman: The Animated Series, Superman: The Animated Series, Batman Beyond, Justice League, and Justice League Unlimited as a kid. I love those characters and I will never stop loving them. That being said, DC repeatedly shows that they have no idea what they are doing with their characters by trying to make all of their characters super grim dark.

Hey DC! NOT EVERYONE CAN BE BATMAN! ONLY BATMAN IS BATMAN! I DON'T WANT TO SEE SUPERMAN THROWING BAD GUYS OFF ROOFTOPS! CUT THAT SHIT OUT!

Of course I am sure I am talking about my favorite character for a long time, I even remember his name...
But I remember in the back of some comics was Turok, but it may well have been a Dell Comic he starred in solo. Or Gold Key.
. I was 7 and 8 and really don't remember which comic brand it was.
He had his own comic in the 70s or 80s, Dell tried to make a Marvel type character outa him...not possible it was awful.
I'm getting ready to put my small collection in order here soon, and I know I have one copy of a Turok marvel-type (Maybe it was a Marvel...they tried ANYTHING, bless them.
I'm curious now.
Most of my comics are late 60s, to early 80s. All Conan incarnations, Tarzan (avid Burroughs reader), Spiderman, John Carter , Daredevil...all the Howard the Duck issues.
Lots of Heavy Metal, Eerie, Creepy, Vampirella, National Lampoons, i999, etc...and a few hundeds of mostly Marvel comics.
I am very into animation, comix, all Illustrated Novels, and stuff like First Kingdom, Elfquest, all the Underground Comix (I had them when they first came out...I was there for the 70s!)
Does anyone remember Little Annie Fannie? I had those for a while, but someone stole them.
I had a 70s collection of Oui, Hustler, Cheri, Playboy, Pebthouse...mostly in order.
Stolen.
Life...can't live with it, can't live without it.

Well hell, if you have all the Conan stuff I guess you are also a Roy Thomas fan. He had an extremely long and good run on Marvel's Conan series. Also a fan of the 70's thru 80's Daredevil, big fan of Gene Colan's art from that time. If you like Howard the Duck you should look at Steve Gerber's Man-Thing. It is where Steve created Howard, different style, but as well written as all of Steve's work was. Unfortunately of those three creators only Roy is still with us.

DC. Batman, Justice League. Justice League I enjoyed reading the most since all the characters had a real sense of helping one another and being a family. Much like Marvel's The Fantastic Four

I like Hitman, Vertigo shit, Batman and Lobo from DC

I pretty much like the whole marvel universe all X titles, Punisher, Daredevil, some Spidey, Avengers and so on.

I also like Spawn, Bone, The Pro and a few other non big two published books.

Marvel
As LaLiLuLeLohan said, DC heroes are too perfect : Superman's almost almighty, Wayne's so rich he could buy Qatar...
Also, except Superman and Batman, who's are DC super-heroes ? Green Arrow ? The Flash ? Wonder Woman ? You must be kiddin' !

Much as I like Batman, overall I have to give it to Marvel. Their universe has more depth. Chris Claremont and Larry Hama, best comic writers ever!

I love both but if I had to choose, it's DC for me. I love the Justice League too much not to choose DC.
It's why most of my cosplays are DC too :p

I take my love of Batman too far on a pretty regular basis.

I do think my copy of Infinity Gauntlet will be going up in value soon though, with the way the Marvel movie franchises are going ;)
