The problem with that kind of protest is that a fringe of the people who come want it to go out-of-control, to ignite, violence, riots, etc. Other are real neo-nazi (or real marxists if it's a left-wing protest), others are just there for the fun of fighting with police, throwing things at them, breaking stuff, looting, etc.
The vast majority are just there to protest the government, to voice their discontent. But the medias aren't interested in peaceful protestors, they empasizes on the small minority who came to create and spread chaos.

I've often wondered™ why someone chooses to point out (repeatedly in some cases) that they're ignoring someone and to the person they're ignoring. It's self-contradictory. Like saying the phrase "I cannot speak a word of English."
