During this pic there was this doorknob (guy) who was standing back behind the photographer with his camera and just staring, which of course is to be expected, but makes it uncomfortable and distracting to try and look sexy or stay focused

.... when you have to take a photo where you stare off into the distance, do you literally just look out into space at nothing, or do you actually choose a fixed point to look at, or have to find something to look at? If so, what's the weirdest thing you've stared at off-camera in order to take a photo?

Both usually, it depends where the photographer is telling me to look. Sometimes I'll pic an object and he'll be like "..a little higher, .........or between those two guys jerking off..." something like that. I can't say there's been anything weird I've ever had to stare at, but I have had to look straight into the sun quite a few times, and THAT is exactly what is going on in this pic.....if you look you'll see the sun is centered right on my pupil. When we do this he has me close my eyes, face straight into the sun, and then open them fully while he snaps off 3-5 shots, and then I close back up. I see spots usually. When he was taking this shot he started saying "Oh my God! Wow!" and the next picture I'm just laughing so hard..I'll have to find that one for you smile lovers...... oh I don't have it here but I do have this shot you've seen already ....

....which was a couple seconds after that shot of staring in the sun...he just kept saying how "Holy shit your so fucking beautiful!" LOL

I think when he first was putting the set together he titled it OMG, but when I finally got it up on the site i settled for Splash.

I have spoken to a few models who posed in the snow or similar and they all said that even thought it was cold and they were naked being outside in the snow actually made them feel warmer because of the rush and excitement of it. This one right here actually won the 18+ picture of the day contest at ModelMayhem....and as soon as it did they disqualified it and deleted the entire days entries! Apparently touching my vagina is not allowed at MM. Whatever. Then they made me take it down completely off of my profile there, not allowing me to make any mention of it even in my bio, like it didn;t happen! It actually won by the biggest margin of the year.

It's mostly my photographers choice. I think because we are in Seattle, anytime we can take advantage of the sun he does. Lighting is so good outside, doesn't take a lot of set up, and you don't have to move flashes and equipment everytime you change angles or move the camera.

So this pic was part of a set that was specifically for the Freeones gear. I actually rented that boat on Lake Tahoe ($800 fucking dollars!) and I'm really happy with the results! I wanted to have one of the best Freeones Gear picture sets and I feel like it's in the top 10, personally. I was pretty relaxed, had a shot first to calm the nerves from all the jet skiers that kept circling closer, and closer.... lol I guess I would too! One funny thing, as we were finishing up we had drifted close enough to the shore to see people and what they were doing. Fortuantely we were close to one of the 4 nude beaches there, unfortunately it was the gay section! Two guys were taking turns sucking each other off right there on the rocks in the water! Funny shit!

This is part of the set I talked about in my last response. It is kinda exhilarating to be naked outdoors like that. Not somuch having everyone looking at me though. I have never been a stripper, so it still takes a bit for me to just be comfortable out in the open if people are staring. I don;t have pubes for the wind to hit, I get lasered so there's no hair left...forever

I am almost always trying to visualize how this pose is going to look, I'm usually really focused on that and often there is a lot of discussion happening between me and the photographer about what I'm doing, if I need to move something, change my expression, or my favorite...."Hold that!! It was a rush! Especially because it was only about 20 feet off of the highway going through the mountains east of San Diego! Funny thing was it had snowed like hell the night before but by the time we took this pic it was about 70 degrees! Wasn't bad at all except my toes

Wish I did! I'm actually standing in front of this Salton City neighborhood's sign, dropped my skirt and doing this pose right out in the open! Anyone couldv'e seen it and someone did....and they jumped on their ATV and headed straight for us! We piled into the car and just baled It was one of my early sets that I was really really happy with when I got to see it. I think I have 70 or so pics from that set on my site.

Are you ff kidding me? "18+ Picture of the day" not allowed to touch your vagina, lol.....so sorry to hear that. There is just something aobut that picture, the look on your face, posture sureI know, no matter what it is, it truly is a lovely photo. And it might also be the natural use of light like you said. It for sure is one of the best Freeones sets I've seen too. Not kissing up here, it really is. I mean, you DID win, glorious as it seems. And MM.... fuck 'm! (figure of speech ofcourse).

The ol' "available lighting" technique. Very nice. Makes sense given your environs, as you noted.

Mandy, I must give you major kudos for being so nice and fielding as my queries as you have. :thumbsup: I imagine that in marketing discussions regarding your website, the overused phrase "girl next door" probably arose. However, for that to be applicable to you, said "girl next door" would have to look like Jill Hennessy and have off-the-charts sexual magnetism. I've never encountered that particular neighborhood before, but I'd love to find it.
