R.I.P. Majel Barrett Roddenberry ,Nurse Chapel,Number one,Gene's wife.:crying:
Ever watch the original "Star Trek" ?
She was wife of its creator Gene Roddenberry and played on the series as well as was the voice of the computer as was mentioned.For the older people here who grew up watching the show and loved it and even for the younger ones who saw it in reruns she is someone we remember well.They don't make shows like "Star trek " anymore,entertaining but sometimes with profound timely messages.Like the episode " Let That Be Your Last Battlefield" with Frank Gorshin(the riddler of the Batman TV show) that showed how ridiculous racism was.In it the two characters thought it was all important which side of their face was black and which side was white(shown in pic below) and the crew of the enterprise didn't understand that at all.
