I am a failure to the Korean side of my family
Christ Magic the Gathering is still around??? I was never into that, I used to play games with the minitures like Mage Knight and Warhammer 40K

I havent played in forever, but with the new zendikar set im starting to get back in to it. It has changed so much from what it was just three years ago to now.

I have a load sitting in the attic.

I wish I got into these games. Nobody to play with, and I'm not the type that'll play with randoms. Is there a video game version I could get my feet wet with?

Duels of the Planeswalkers is available for 360, PS3, and Windows.

I played MTG for several years but I quit after the Unhinged set came out, still have all of my cards though and my Gleemax deck. I bought Duels of the Planeswalkers when it came out but I couldn't get into the cards again.

One of these days I need to sit down and go through the cards and put them into lots for ebay.

I haven't played in like 13 or 14 years or something like that. I have a bunch of old cards lying around that I will probably never be able to get rid of. I think I even have a couple of Time Walks in my collection.

I think I once tried to see how cheesy of a deck I could make up and it pretty much involved the time walks a couple other cards that gave free turns like them, graveyard recyclers, and some pingers for damage that allowed me to get infinite consecutive turns. (It wasn't close to being tournament legal, but we never played like that anyhow.) Unless things broke really badly from the start with the draw or somebody got lucky and had just the perfect global effect out very quickly that somehow messed up the way my deck worked (usually it would take both) it was almost impossible to lose with the deck.

I have to admit that the entire game was a rip off. Paying that much for 12 slips of printed cardboard was the main reason I quit. I realized after a while it wasn't worth it, not to mention them continually getting more out of hand with the rules and additions as time when on didn't help. I'm sure it's even worse now after all this time.

Vintage format only can play those cards now, unless you wanna play a casual game, anything goes. The game is meant to make money, just like any other hobby out there, not a rip off, if u choose to pay for it and you have the funds, why not? The game has evolved, I think it's better and picking up with more popularity more now then ever.

Actually I still play Magic: The Gathering. :)

:dito: :D

I Play MTG on my Xbox360

I believe there's 3 or four! :) And Xbox360 one that I like, MTG: Battlegrounds for PC (and PS2 I THINK, don't quote me there), and an old school one for PSX that I can't remember the name of. I also think there was one for a portable system but I could be wrong.

And I play, but I stopped getting cards after they changed the card layout. But I used to play in tournaments twice a week. It's a lot of fun! :D
