I played the first one. After reading some of these posts I think I may have to pick it up.

I rented Mafia II for XboX360 @ a Redbox Kiosk for $2 and lets just say best $2 spent ever!

i played mafia 2 for 360, i found it amazing all the little details in the game the story is good but that all you can really do, the free roam gets boring after about 10 mins i would rate 6/10 if you play for the story its good but dont expect anything else

It has no free roam option like Saints Row and GTA no side quests or mini games like being a taxi driver to make money or anything. The game just has the main storymode and nothing else. The storymode is good but it's all there is and in a game of this sort having side quests and mini games etc is needed for extra life to the game.

I rented it for 360 and beat it within a week....not a game I would play again but for one time it is awesome! The story line is great and the comedy that the characters bring is beyond funny! I highly recommend it but don't buy it, either download it or rent it cause their is no multiplayer but I heard xbox is coming out with new downloadable content (maybe new story modes) Hope so.
