was just watching the draft and seen drew brees got the cover no suprise but what about the madden curse

first year two dudes were on the cover and the madden curse is about injuring one player. As you stated Polamalu had bad issues for the first time in his career, so Polamalu was the one who took it for the team this year ala the curse. This thing is real, I'm sorry, its happening too many times now to be coincidence. Something's gotta happen to Brees this year, no doubt.
Plus Fitzgerald shouldn't even had been on the cover IMO.

Oh yeah, Brees is also a Boilermaker, thus the curse doesn't affect him because he's a badass. :hatsoff:
Tim Tebow is gonna be on the cover of NCAA football 11 this year. Diff game.
Didnt he also get into a huge fight with one of his teammates during practice? I Think it was only a few weeks after the release of the cover too. I laughed my ass off when I heard that and all I could think about was the madden curse.
Also the curse hit polamalu pretty bad but fitzgerald also broke his ribs during the playoffs, even though he had a pretty badass season..but yeah seems like the madden curse is still alive and well.
So much talent in this year's draft and they choose popularity over talent. Just a poor decision IMO, they had some badass DTs or even Clausen/Mccoy/Bradford have more talent than Tebow.
Vince only had small nagging injuries after the Madden cover. However, he fell victim to the part of the Madden curse that brings trouble to the player and puts their career in a downward spiral. Happened to Dante Culpepper that way. Culpepper was lightin' it up like a future hall of famer with Moss and company in Minnesota. After the cover, he went to being mediocre at best and can't even find a job in the NFL.

Culpepper had a bad year when he was on the cover, then was an elite Quarterback for two full years after his cover came out. He didn't start to fade until he blew his knee out in 2005.
why does anyone still talk about this curse?

they "changed" the curse to try to add a decline in stats even though it was always about a guy getting injured.
