Lost Girl!

So, There is this AMAZING show that I've just become turned on to, Lost Girl.

This show is captivating. I have spent many of my days off watching episode after episode! There is sex, mystery, a paranormal aspect, comedy, drama and did I mention sex?

Lost Girl focuses on the gorgeous and charismatic Bo, a supernatural being called a succubus who feeds on the energy of humans, sometimes with fatal results. Refusing to embrace her supernatural clan system and its rigid hierarchy, Bo is a renegade who takes up the fight for the underdog while searching for the truth about her own mysterious origins.

It's a Canadian TV show that is on the Scy-fy channel and also on Netflix & Hulu.. It's just been picked up for a fourth season and I am ecstatic!

Where else can you get such SEXY characters??

Anybody else seen this show? Do you guys have any TV show recommendations?

Show itself is kind of shit, but holy crap the babes.... that is the only reason we watch it.

I love the show and the babes! Anna Silk is my major girl crush. She is just gorgeous! But I love my women with dark features (eyes, hair) I'm assuming it's because it's the opposite of what I have..

This is a good show, but I watch for the babes. Ksenia Solo is a rocket.

I love her, I wish I had a best friend like her.

do they sparkle?

Ew. No. I hate that crap. Not anything like Twilight at all..

Seems pretty stupid.

larss

I'm watching some specialist videos
I've been watching since the first episode. I'm not convinced by the story lines, but with Anna and Ksenia, who cares?

I don't have a tv, so I don't watch shows.

bbbut there's a wolf! :(

I don't have a tv, so I don't watch shows.

I usually watch on my computer on netflix!

If you can get over the exceptionally low budget it's some good cheesy fun...

Yeah I see what you're saying about low budget but I think they work well with what they have :)

I know the whole "paranormal" thing isn't for everyone, I happen to be fascinated by the idea of the unknown and magical anything.

Yeah, and he's se... uh, I wasn't gonna say sexy. I was gonna say... secular. He's very non-religious. :uohs:

Well, Doctor Who is popular, and it's budget used to be pretty shoestringy (though it seems to be getting better in that respect).

You ever read The Dresden Files books? Quite awesome, and also some good cheesy, supernatural fun.

I've never seen Dr.Who but everyone talks about it being good. :dunno:

No, I've never heard of it but I'll definitely check it out!

I hate that Twilight has made all other supernatural type books or shows lose credit before they're even given a chance..

Yeah some nice girl/girl action in that series especially is the first few episodes and the Prison episode (hot !)...The succubus angle is kind of interesting and unique, but the plot overall seems kind of pointless and convoluted.

I recommend the show Strangers With Candy although they aren't making new episodes ...A comedy not Sci-Fi but I always liked that show.

Um, yes. :o

If you can get over it's family-oriented nature, and the fact that it can be over-the-top goofy on occasion, it's pretty entertaining.

There's, like, 13 or 14 books now. The first one doesn't quite measure up to the rest of the series, but for a first attempt (it was Jim Butcher's first novel) it's quite good. Dresden himself is a wizard/PI who works with the Chicago police as a special consultant who gets called in on weird cases. The books involve a lot of vampires, werewolves, faeries, demons, ghosts... if it goes bump in the night, it's probably in there somewhere.

There was a TV series - cancelled after the first season as most of the good shows are these days. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0486657/

Yeah, seen it.

Most of the fans of the novels hated it (I didn't, but most did) because it changed a fair amount of stuff from the books.
