Looking for advice on buying a new, smaller sized TV

I'm looking to buy a new TV on black friday and figured I'd do the research. I'm looking for something smaller (32-36 inch). Less than 40 inches for sure.
I'm looking for a name brand, preferably Sony. Main purpose would be movies and video games.

Any tips/considerations on what to look for would be great! Thanks.

I looked around at Walmart and Best Buy but it was difficult finding a good 32-36" in 4K.

I found something a bit bigger for $547.95 that looks good.

Thanks for effort, but yeah, 50 is too big. Even 40 is too large...

For TVs Sony is definitely best for games/sports/everything...you should go to the Sony website and look at all the Sony models the sizes you want and write down their model numbers...then take those model numbers with you on black Friday or call around and write down the prices each store has of those models then go in and bargain with whoever has the lowest asking price.

Mr. Daystar

In a bell tower, watching you through cross hairs.
It's really funny to me, that we refer to a 30" TV, as small. When I was in high school, we had a 25" TV. that weighed a ton, and took up the space of a recliner. A small TV was a 13" set. Now, if you own anything less then a 60" wall mounted 4k plasma whatever, you're way behind the rest of the world. Which by the way I am!

I spent a lot of time "back in the day" (early 2000s) researching the first HD tvs that came out. I went with Sony, as the speakers are "forward facing" / a defacto sound bar. I purposely did NOT get Samsung, and their speakers face down. Another consideration is the refresh rate. And, iff not plasma - read some some reviews, and see how "true" the blacks are. Just a few considerations.
