For me, 7 years. The first 3 years were rough because I was still trying to get laid(without paying for it) and failed. The last 4 years I've kind of given up. I think I'm just not any woman's "type" and these days you have to be if you're going to have any shot of getting with her. The funny thing is that after I gave up and accepted that some people are just meant to be alone I became the happiest that I had been for a long time.
