During the first few days of swelling yes you feel a small bump but now I can’t feel any of the Hyaluronic acid in my lips. I know it’s there but my lips feel and look smooth

Thanks for this video Liv, we missed you. The filler is pretty neat. Does this only work on the lips? because I've heard that some men try using dermal fillers with hyaluronic acid to fatten/thicken up their 'downstairs' due to a lack of penile girth ("skinny pencil" syndrome)? Btw Good luck on your surgery this month, hope all goes well.

What?! I have never heard of men doing that, at least not to themselves. Probably a good idea to go to a professional to do that, but I imagine it would be a similar aesthetic effect to injecting into your lips/ face. Not sure how that could affect operation though. However there is a face filler ampoule for the Hyaluron pen. Very similar to what I did on my lips. I didn’t try the face out because I just got fillers in my laugh lines via my surgeon not too long ago.

You do have pretty prominent lips normally (or as the young ones say "DSLs"). Do you usually get complimented on your DSLs and/or has anyone mentioned your lips looking thicker since you made this video? Did the thump/shock hurt a lot or was it just a quick sharp pain?

A couple of friends have noticed a slight difference but it’s so subtle I haven’t gotten a ton of reaction, which makes me think I did a good job for what I wanted
The initial ********* I did definitely gave me a jolt and was the most “painful”. Wouldn’t say it hurt too much, more just intense. After that I knew what to expect and wasn’t startled by the other spots I injected on my lipsShow less

what's the science that goes into the lips getting larger from the shot? does it use the tissue already existing and 'expand' or stretch it out? for eg. if someone has much thinner lips than you, will they get the same volume or only volume relative to what they had to work with initially? And not to be too salacious but are you able to still perform certain activities involving the mouth/lips while they heal? or do you have to wait a few days after swelling goes down before you continue those kind of acts? Appreciate the tutorial and sharing your experience with it. It gave you a really nice understated but noticeably fuller look.

The Hyaluron pen does use existing tissue but very similar to an injectable lip filler it expands the area of your epidermal and upper dermal layers of skin with hyaluronic acid. The biggest difference between this and lip fillers with needles is the way it’s injected, one is creating a small hole via a burst of pressure and immediate ********* into the lips while the other is a needle that is penetrating the skin for a longer period of time while someone “hand draws” your lips. As for the second question- definitely want to wait the few days while swelling goes down before performing certain activities. But after that everything feels totally normal, not an issue!
