I usually refrain from commenting when pornstars have some kind of horribly unfortunate cosmetic surgery or botched boob job or the like. I don't bring it up in forums like FO or on social media, let alone say something when in some kind of direct communication with a model or pornstar, or get into the holier-than-thou sermonizing about how wrong and unnecessary the surgery was (or whatever pontificating may appear to be called for), mostly for two reasons:
A.) It isn't for me to judge what other people - especially women - do to their bodies; I have no earthly clue the pressure celebrities, pornstars and even just women in general are under to be "pretty" or conform to societal norms of beauty, so it would be extremely arrogant of me to condemn their decisions when I can't even begin to know how difficult those decisions are for them, let alone how they themselves view the results.
B.) It just isn't nice. Even if there is no disputing someone had the worst surgery ever, bitching about it (as though I'm the one who is harmed) is just mean. So I usually prefer to say nothing and, unfortunately at times, just stop buying content for those stars because I just don't find them attractive any longer. I view it as lamentable, but I don't make a big deal out of it in public settings.
That said, lately there are a number of big name pornstars who have -- how shall I say this -- completely fucked up their faces. I'm not going to name names. It's already bad enough what I'm about to say about one of my favorite pornstars of all time. But I'm sure most people could name several just off the top of their heads, and no doubt it has already been commented on in those stars' threads with all attendant cruelty and callous disregard for peoples' feelings and basic civility.
But when I saw these preview photos of an upcoming Brazzers scene, I was appalled. This photo in particular is the one that shocked me:
Now obviously it's no secret Lisa has had work done in the past. It would be impossible for anyone with a pulse not to know about her boobs, but I think most people believe (I among them) that she's had butt implants as well. I've never cared, because I like the way she looks. I don't have any principled objections to stars having work done, I just think it's a risky affair because too often it turns out poorly. Her boobs are often criticized by the malicious and (as long as it involves criticizing other people while remaining completely anonymous themselves) self-appointed authorities on physical beauty for their imperfections, but I've always thought they looked just fine, and I really love her ass, whether or not it has been augmented. Most of all, I love her performances, so I've never really cared about what other work she has had.
But these photos are a game changer. I mean, it's *possible* it's just the photos and her face doesn't really look like this, but I don't think so. And it really disheartens me that the "most popular pornstar in the world" has taken this extremely unfortunate step and that it turned out so poorly. If she's happy with it, then more power to her, I guess. But to me it's a damn shame, because until now there was literally no end in sight for her career, which has included the most successful comeback of all time, and one of the most successful runs of porn superstardom ever as well.
