I mean, think about it.

Life comes from the Sun, right?
The Sun is a star, right?
There's like a billion stars, right?

It seems almost impossible for there NOT to be some form of life on some other planet, in some other galaxy.

It took billions of years for humans to show up on Earth. Maybe we just need to wait around for other planets to start catching up.

Or not...whatever.

Yup. Actually, our galaxy alone has about a hundred billion stars. In fact, the theory goes, that if the universe is in fact infinite, then just about anything imaginable has to exist somewhere, as long as it obeys the laws. We're pretty insignificant, really.

Conspiracy...
Nope. :hatsoff:

If there were aliens we would have seen them by now.

The government always arrives at the crash site first, no matter where it is.

I do not know and I do not care! :)

...even if somewhere in the space there is a planet with human-being-look-alike-species, especially with hot sexy babes who like to fuck with any man, and ain't got no morals at all - I still do not care, cuz they are so damn far and so damn unreal, that I have more chances to participate in a group sex orgy with Pope and some nuns then to meet girls from other planet.

I find it very hard to believe that we are the only form of life in the universe. It is impossible to be certain either way.

If there are a super-advanced, space traveling alien race, they'll probably destroy us before we know it. Hopefully they'll grant us a peaceful, quick death. :)

Actually, its said that Aliens produced us an an experiment.

I doubt they would kill us, but maybe actually grant us something better than SEX.

This is some heavy shit, dude, and I don't have the BC Gold to smoke to understand it perfectly....................

Buzz Aldrin has gone on record as saying that he saw UFOs on the moon.

I'm pretty much positive there has to be something else out there, but given how far apart everything is, I doubt we'll ever find out. At least not in my lifetime.

Talking about it like that means, The Sun is a star the stars could be planets for some? Orgamisms come from the stars, and the world is created from matter. There are species of life all over. I have my own theory of relitivity when it comes to exploring galaxies in far distances.

In a still expanding universe that contains many billions of stars it has to be said that the probability of life existing outside of the planet Earth has to be very high. Although, it is highly unlikely that the Human race will ever confirm the existance of alien life. Considering the fact that the closest star to our own, Proxima Centauri, is 4.22 light years away, I do not believe that we will ever develop the technology needed to travel that distance and survive the journey. Not even if we figure out a way to travel at the speed of light. Since even at the speed of light, it would take 4.22 years to reach our nearest star. Which is much longer than the maximum amount of time a human body can survive in a zero gravity environment.

Most definitely. No question in my mind. What I wonder about is if that is maybe where we have gotten some of our recent jumps in technology.....almost like there is someone helping us. In fact, I'll go so far as to say that it would not surprise me at all if they are amongst us, or at least around, watching, observing. If they have mastered faster than light travel, secrets of the universe, etc., I don't think they would be in any hurry to reveal themselves to us, a world full of nations that have very large weapons pointed at........each other.

The last time a guy came down here spouting great knowledge and words of wisdom, well, he ended up nailed to a cross.....and I really don't think we are much different than humans were 2,000 years ago.

So, yes, I'm sure there is life out there....there has to be.....but I wouldn't be expecting the human race to be given a seat on the Galactic Council any time soon.

If ever.

It depends on your definition of life. Life can be almost anything that is living. That isn't always true because plants are living, but it depends on your definition of life.

This is one of the hardest questions you can ask yourself. The information we have currently isn't known to be right. Most of this information is based theories. Theories can't even be creditable most of the time, because the information backing them up are also theories.

It all depends on what you believe at this point. The schools want you to believe in evolution, but the church wants you to think different.

Scientists know less then 1% of all the information about the universe.

*MUST READ*
I forget what European country this is in, but they just finished building a huge device. It will try to tell us information about the earth and universe that we don't know.

It also might create a black hole, but that's yet to be proven.

okay, The Earth has been around for billions of years? what if, we have already been through all of this. Since Scientiest in the past have come and gone and so has evolution. We as humans have only been around for millions of years. Whati f the world was full of parinoid scientest at one time long ago. and Thought the world was going to come to an end. And There was two of everything. Two moons, two suns and two planets. We only needed one to live on but had room to roam on the other. So, if the scientiest created a plan to fit most living creatues on one planet to travel through a black hole into another galaxy. Which comes to the conlusion. We are here, and they are there. We are only an experiment. Soon they will return to collect us but it takes 500 billion years to creatre what they need to get this far. Since, we can understand this, They will one day return and give us ever lasting life. This is a thought I concieved after watching the History channel. They are already watching us they just can't get to us, How do you explain, the explainable?

Statistically it's very likely.
There are just so many astronomical bodies in the Universe that even if intelligent life exists the odds against a visit from then are infinitessimally small. Why choose Earth when there are trillions of other places to go?
If aliens had actually landed we wouldn't be asking such questions-we would know about it.

An astronomer once said that if one in a million stars are like the sun in that it can support life, and if one in a million of those stars have a planet orbiting it, and if one in a million of those planets support life, and if one in a million of those planets support intelligent life, and if one in a million of those planets support intelligent life wich developed into a civilization the universe will be full of intelligent civilizations either more or less advanced then ours.
