The Second-Hottest Man in my Mother's Basement
Micheal Jordan is one of the all time greats, but i would argue he would not have been the six time champlon without Scottie Pippen.
This is a really great point. Jordan was the best of all time, no question, but Pippen was a crucial part to each of the Bulls' championships and almost led them to another without Jordan. The Cavs never had a player that came close to Pippen's talent that could play alongside Lebron and that'd affect any superstar playing for the Cavs. If Jordan had a rare night where he wasn't on his game, who bailed him out? Pippen. Who did Lebron have on the Cavs? No one. That's not to say that, had Lebron stayed, he wouldn't have eventually gotten over the hump, but when I actually look at it I think it's rough to swap the star player of each team when, even without Jordan, the Bulls were a great team when the Cavs were nothing without Lebron.
