Day 1 of the Final Round, and quite a bit of a serious issue having created a bit of unrest has occured since yesterday (last Day of Round 2). I have voted quite some hours ago, but have been uncertain for a while wether or not to continue posting about my voting, and my reasons for voting. At this point, I'm not sure if it wouldn't "hurt" the chances of the Babes I vote for to do so - as their detractors and/or fans of others might rally up more support, when they see that a fellow Contestant is being favored by several people. The fact that this is a blind-round of course makes it more difficult.

Still, at this point in time, I believe that my postings have usually been more helpful towards the fabulous Babes I vote for, than actually hurting them.
There might be a few others, whom I do not like for one reason or another, and for who I would either most definitely never personally vote for - or only under particular circumstances. Still, I honestly believe that all Babes literally bust their behinds in the work they do (and for most, it can even be taken literally - see their anal scenes, be it B/G for the HC Babes, or a toy for the AM Babes). Whatever (personal) issues I might have for disliking someone, that does not belong here and I will never mention who those might be. I keep that to myself.

So, after a lengthier preamble than usual, here are my Votes of the Day (and a few reasons):

Miss FreeOnes 2013:
Miss Hybrid - when I first became aware of the Miss FreeOnes Contest last year (yes, I know I know, if you look at my sign-up date, I signed up before the Contest of 2 years ago - but it somehow slipped by me) I did not know much about the Boards, nor about OCSMs or anything of the Boards themselves. For over a year after signing up, I had stuck to the many other parts of FreeOnes that there are besides the Boards. I loved being able to save "My Favorites", read up on their stats, see if they were still in activity and some other neat stuff. Then, in 2012 I became aware of the Contest through some social-media posting by one of the Contestants. I didn't know much, but liked that as a Member my vote would count more, and that if I posted something, my vote count would increase by the next round. I have done so, and have since come to stick around - even after the Contest had ended, I really like the interraction that is on the board. While I find that the Miss FO time is a very busy time on here, and a lot of sweet interraction takes place, there is always a risk of things degenerating a bit, since emotions can fly high during the Competition. The interraction with the marvellous Babes, once the Contest was over, and all year round, was awesome.

But(t) I've strayed a bit from talking about Miss H. Last year, when I cast my very first votes, I didn't really know much about many of the Contestants, and I initially voted for those that I have "heard of" before. I, admit (and this might come across as shocking to some of the Board-Regulars) I had absolutely no fracking clue as to who Miss H. was. Never heard of her before last years Contest (and she already was Reigning Euro Tart - and I live in Europe). Now, that doesn't mean that Miss doesn't do awesome work, or that she isn't "well known", it's just that I hadn't come across her, as perhaps my personal interests and preferences might not have included the things Miss does. Still, I came to know her a bit better, saw that she interracted awesomely with her many fans (Team Tart and also the Mob). By the time we reached the 2nd half of Round 2 in 2012, there was the "cliffhanger" wether or not Miss H. would make it into the Final Round in the Main Category (and some superb artwork by Mr. Riccardo). That was also the time I first started giving her my vote, helping to get her into the Finals, and then voting her throughout Round 3, though it didn't help to get her on the Podium back then. Over the year, I came to appreciate Miss H. ever more for her postings on the Boards and her great interraction. A real Lady.

This year, Miss practically strolled through all her Categories, and made it safely into the Final Round, and I was able to concentrate my votes to help some other struggling Babes. Some have made it, a couple others have been lost along the way. Now, that the objective no longer is the passage of the Round (and thanks to Votes being reset between those), but to vote for who we would like to see take the Crown, my Vote again goes to Miss. My 1st Daily Vote will continue to go to her everyday in this Category, as to maximize on my vote-count. While there are many deserving Babes in the run for the Main Title, I believe that Miss H. not only is representative of FreeOnes, she is Miss FreeOnes. It is through this Contest that she gained a lot of notority (not only with yours truly), and became a fan favorite. So it would be awesome to see her take the Crown and become Miss FreeOnes 2013. Besides, we've already had 3 Blonde Miss FreeOnes (OK, granted, Sophie Dee has been every color there is over the years), so it's time for a Brunette.

Best Newcomer:
Jaana Ruutu - the main reason for the Newcomer Category, is probably to give more visibility to relatively New Talent. Relatively new, in the sense that it includes Babes who have been added to the FreeOnes Babe Archive within the last Year. Now, some of those will be more known to the General Public than others. Before the contest started, I had only heard of a few Contestants (and actually didn't know that some were actually "newcummers") such as my hometown Girl Valentina Nappi, the Quebecan-Duo the Lane Sisters and another Hardcore Babe Sadie Holmes. Of these 3, only 2 have made it on to the Finals. Though Jaana, has been on the Boards for a couple of months, I hadn't really come across her until shortly before the Contest. So once again, the Contest has served to give visibility to someone I probably would have never found otherwise (since she's mostly a Cam Girl - and I don't really follow Cam Shows, I would probably not have found her). There are of course also others I had never heard of.

I had never heard of Christy Mack (for example) before actually seeing her in 1st Place during Rounds 1 and 2. Now Miss Mack might have made herself a name during this Contest for the Controversy of Mack-Gate (and the apparent public brush-off of the FreeOnes Team - read, at least a clear Public Statement on the Matter would've been much appreciated by Board-Members) and will probably still go on to win the Title. I'm actually fairly surprised that some big-name and serious Companies are seemingly setting so much hope on this Newcummer. Now while I in no way want to diminish her work, I believe it can be agreed upon, that she does fall into a Niche-Categorization, and does not have that look which would probably be appreciated by the vast General Audience. If those Big Studios want to set on this as some sort of "new look" and carry what has been in it's own Niche until now, and force it down our throats as the new main thing, well - I'm sorry, but if I want to see Alt-Performers, I go to search them out (and I do appreciate a couple of Alt Babes and have them in my faves), but if those Companies fail to see that the Female Performers who really pull in the fans are the more "classic" Beauties and all-rounders like Lexi Belle, Madison Ivy and Angell Summers, then maybe those Companies should evaluate firing whoever is currently managing their Affairs, because in exchange of a few more Fans from one area, they risk alienating many others.

But(t), again I'm straying off topic, so lets get back to Jaana and why I'm voting for her. As I said, Jaana is another Newcummer, whom I only noticed through this years Contest (similar to my discoveries of Lolita Borgia and Holly Rydem in 2012). Now I could just say that I vote for Jaana because she is in the Mob, and no real further reason would be needed. But, she's not the only Mob Babe currently in the Newcomer Category. It has actually been a difficult decision, wether or not to go with giving Jaana one of my 3 daily votes. She is a very nice Girl, no doubt about that. Also, she has a very unique and fun personality, something which is greatly appreciated. Of course, she's also made her way into the Hearts of many fellow Board Members already, and I have come to enjoy reading her posts as well. Jaana really rocks when it comes to interraction with us FOBMs (or maybe FOFMs - I still can't decide on which acronym to use).

Though, there are also some things which have made me hesitant to give her my full support. Jaana is not an All-Round Performer. She's surely an awesome Cam Girl (though I can't really judge that) and she can still be considered a good Adult Model. She's without a doubt an Indie-Talent, and probably makes up a Niche of her own. Now, while I don't think that the Newcomer Title should necessarily go to a Babe who does Hardcore, nor that she needs ties with some Major Studios for her Modelling, there should be an appeal to the General Audience. I'm not sure if Jaana really can have that pull, we can't really compare her to any previous Newcummers or to the established Babes in her Categories.
Still, in the End, I have decided to go with Jaana, and she will receive my 2nd Daily Vote for everyday of the Contest. If the Newcomer Category is about giving New Talent a Platform to get themselves better known by the Public, if it is about who has made a positive impact within their work. Then Jaana surely meets those Criteria. She's made a lot of Friends here on the Boards, as well among fellow Babes as also with many of us regular Members. Besides, if FreeOnes can't enforce it's own Rules on certain "Untouchables" then it's up to us FOBMs to try and make a difference by pulling together to avoid giving the Title to someone who would cast a shadow over the entire Contest.

Best Adult Model:
Briana Lee - with the fact that we only have 3 Votes a Day, and there are 6 Categories, it is not possible to cover all Categories on a single day. For my 3rd Vote, I had to make some tough decisions. Firstly, I had no problem in dropping the Cam Girl Category, as I had said on different occasions before, I don't really follow Cam Shows (seeing not even a handful over the course of the year) so I don't feel able to make a Qualified Judgement on who truly is the most deserving Babe of the Year in that Category. Secondly, the OCSM Category has so many of my personal Favorite Babes from the Boards in the Running (and a total of 12 Mob Babes - 11 if Mandy's withdrawal is accepted by the FreeOnes Team) that I would be happy to see any one of them take the Crown, I just couldn't decide on a single one. So, it was down to Best Adult Model and Best Euro Babe, as the Categories I would still like to vote for. As a European, I do feel that I should vote in my Home Category, but for now I'm concentrating more on the Adult Model Category.

When the Contest started I was fairly auto-convinced that I would like to see my Rebel Friend take the Crown for the second year in a row. After all, it was her merit that I ever even started looking into the Competition of 2012, and that I checked out the Boards, and hung around. Strangely, though she was present by posting shortly before the Contest started, during the Contest she is currently more shining through her absence. I wonder how things would've been if she had been more actively involved this Year. So the choice was down to some other lovely Ladies of the Mob besides the Rebel. Lolita Borgia, who I totally adore, would've been a great choice, but while she has become a favorite here on the Boards, her pull with the wider audience isn't that high yet (perhaps in a year or two). So the choice would have come down to the Quartet which was Leading the Category throughout Rounds 1 and 2: Taylor Stevens, Briana Lee, Andi Land and Xo Gisele. While Tay and Gisele have not been very active within the Mob in the last few weeks, Briana and the new-entry Andi surely have. Briana has often helped to keep the Mob alive throughout the year, and Andi is bringing in some fresh spring air.

Actually Andi has made the decision for whom to give my vote to more difficult for me. I know that it was also due to my vote, that last year she only made it to the Runner-up Podium Spot. She has positively surprised me, and is a really lovely Babe, and would totally deserve to win the Category. But, in the end, I've decided to give my vote to Briana, because of the great interraction that has taken place throughout the entire year. Briana, together with Miss and Mandy have been some of the most active and lovely OCSMs who I had the pleasure of interacting with and reading on the Boards in those Threads that I follow all year round. While all this might mean that it would be more appropriate to vote for Bri in the OCSM Category (and giving Andi a better shot at the Title by a non-Vote in Adult Model), I do believe that Briana is a totally Hot Babe in this Category, and since she does seem to have an honest shot at the Title, my Vote goes to her.


My 3rd Vote will not be a Daily Vote, I am currently planning on giving my 3rd, 6th, 9th (and eventual the extra hour votes) to my Hometown Girl Valentina Nappi in the Best Euro Babe Category. Though she is neither an OCSM (yet) nor in the Mob, I can't ignore that with her Italy finally has a new potential Star in the Industry. If you look at the Italian Girls (meaning those with an Italian Passport/Citizenship and born/living in Italy) you'd notice that we have become a Desert. Yes, there are still many Production Companies with some great Directors (Salieri still rules) and Male-Talent Rocco Siffredi has come back as well. But the Female Talent is truly in a state of despair, with the Production Companies and Directors prefering Eastern European Performers (who are beautiful and awesome, I love many of them) who get Italian sounding Stage Names. It is sad to see us trailing behind the UK, France and Germany in the Industry at the Moment (this is almost as bad as in the UEFA Champions/Europa Leagues). So a new Talent (and especially one born only 40kms from my Hometown) truly deserves my support.
Yes Valentina is also in the Newcomer Category, and in full honesty, I believe she does represent a much better All-Rounder than some who were placed higher than her in Rounds 1 and 2, I don't believe she has a realistic chance of winning the Category (if she does, you'd have one very very happy Buggster though), also my support of her in the Euro Category is not so much as an endorsement towards Victory - which I believe will rightfully go to Miss H. again - but more to give [NOBABE]Valentina a[/NOBABE] little push to make it to a Podium Spot.

For what it's worth, I fully support your decision! If I weren't running for Best Adult Model, Briana would have my vote as well.... she's a real sweetheart, and I'm totally smitten with her! She is a well-known FO favorite, and it's well deserved in my opinion. I'm not going into the finals with any expectations this year, but I can honestly say I'd be one very happy girl if I managed to finished in 2nd after Briana.
