Las Vegas Advice

I am venturing out on my first trip to Vegas with a couple buddies in December.

I'm looking for a resort with a great sports book and hot chicks.

I would love everyone's advice or suggestions on where to book.

I've heard good things about the following:

Palms Place (off the strip)

Wynn

Venetian

... has anyone stayed at any of the above, is there a better place? Remember, it will be December, so not so much eye Premium Link Upgrade t the pools.
