I hear ya...some things you just don't see in small towns. Then along came the internet, and... :tongue:
But you make a good point, and I'll try to help outline things just a little bit.

To answer your question, shemales are very real and while not as popular as mainstream starlets, do fill a distinct niche in the porn industry. Kimber is just like other shemales; biology a male, at birth. You've perhaps heard of people having sex changes? It's sort of like that, but not entirely.

Plastic surgery (including the obvious bustline augmentation) and use of doctor-prescribed hormones are how shemales accomplish their "look". Of course, some of it has to do with how the male looks to begin with...a slender man with a great complexion and gorgeous hair would have an easier time passing themselves off as a shemale than say, a NFL linebacker, lol.

The merging of both the male and female attributes results in what you see. Indeed, the term "shemale" means just that...genetically they are still male but possess many feminine traits/attributes ranging from body surgery to clothing, makeup and hairstyle, to manner of speaking and walking, etc. Other terms used to describe such individuals include "transsexual", "TS", "transgender", "TVG", and "T-girl".
There is still some debate on exactly which term best suits them, but "shemale" is usually used when portraying one of glamour (notably in the porn industry). A more fiercely-debated topic is how a shemale should be addressed...a "he" or a "she". Most shemales market themselves as female, regardless of what genitalia they may be equipped with.

How feminine a shemale looks is usually termed by saying how "passable" they are; That is, how close they could come to passing for a biological female. Generally speaking, the more passable one is the more desirable they are in the industry.

Thanks so much for the information. The only thing that I still find weird is that she was able to go through such a transformation by the age of 20. I get the feeling she may be a little bit older than that. Even though I am a bi female, I have always be weirded out by this stuff, but Kimber is simply amazing.

You make an interesting point about her age...20 is very young to undergo such a life-altering process. You're right though, she's an amazing find.
