Killer whale pod in Monterey Bay have lost their gotdamn minds

In marine mammal news, a pod of orcas in Monterey Bay, CA have gone on an unprecedented and murderous rampage.

Killer whales go on 'unprecedented' ******* spree in Monterey Bay

Alix Martichoux, SFGATE*|*on*April 28,*2017

A week of insane whale sightings in Monterey Bay got even crazier Wednesday when a pod of nine killer whales attacked a gray whale calf right in front of a whale watching tour boat.*

This is the fourth **** in seven days for the group of orcas. That's one **** every other day since last Thursday by the same nine killer whales (with a few others joining occasionally). Nancy Black, a marine biologist with Monterey Bay Whale Watch who has been studying these whales for decades, called the frequency of the pod's killings "remarkable" and "unprecedented."

Something needs to be done about this. Build a sea wall or something.

Let's have some charred fried mammal flesh.

......Sorry I DVR'd the Coneheads last night. lol

that's a shame. But the Greys are peaceful souls who just want to raise their calfs and snort krill all day. This particular pod of Orcas in the OP I think are going beyond sustenance and are just being dicks and showing off for the whale-watching crowd.

Survival of the fittest. Something has obviously changed in their food change, so they now hunt other sources. I just heard somewhere that Otters are a standard they use to judge the strength of an ecosystem. Maybe the seal population has decreased for some reason.
