I like Kevin Smith movies I own almost all of them. My favorites are clerks and dogma. I have one of his Q&A's to I was surprised how much I liked it.

Clerks, Clerks 2 (the porch monkey bit makes me laugh uncontrollably), Dogma. Mallrats was pretty good.
I also own the Clerks animated series on dvd. Yep, all 8 episodes. ABC only aired episodes 2 and 4 then cancelled it. It would've gotten better if they gave it a chance.

There are a couple of movies of his that I like, I listen to his podcast weekly. He does about three of them that I listen to. Most of the time he is stoned and is completely oblivous most of the time. However you get a few podcasts that are somewhat funny. Anyway, he had his moment with in the sun, but sadly with Cop Out, and hearing about some horror movie he is doing called Red State, I am not sure if he should direct anymore. He is hit or miss to be honest with you. He is great with Jason Mewes, but Jason has an on/off drug problem, so who knows.

I love Kevin Smith but his films are very hit and miss. You either love them or hate them, there's no "just ok."

My favorites are Dogma, Mallrats, and Zak and Miri.

i've enjoyed the flicks he's directed, that i've seen: clerks, mallrats, dogma, jay and silent bob strike back, clerks II, and zack and miri make a porno...but dogma for the win "don't run! don't run!"

Zak and Miri was real good forgot how much I enjoyed that one.

Cop Out was also good...for five minutes when Tracey Morgan is doing classic movie impressions.

I like Clerks and Mallrats, the rest is watchable to bleh.

Like Joss Whedon, I prefer Smith's comic book work over any directorial efforts he's had in the past 10 years and counting.
