Dude, they put Olivia Munn (who was relatively unknown) on the COVER and she didn't even show tits or ass. Now even a little bit. Heff's a joke and Playboy's a joke and they've both been jokes for a while.
Magazines as a whole are a dying business thanks to the internet. Outside of collectors, I see no reason to ever purchase a magazine anymore, Playboy or otherwise. In this day and age of instant gratification, by the time a magazine comes out, it's already at least a week old anyway. Pictures will hit the internet before a magazine hits the newstand. Hell, they would be all over Twitter within a day.
Playboy never showed much to begin with but there was a time when if you wanted to see tits, you had very few options, especially if you were looking to avoid hardcore. Nowadays, it's three seconds away via a Google search no matter what you're looking for. No matter how many sloppy TV shows they put on E! or which celebrity they get on the cover, Playboy is going to go down the drain just like every other magazine. The same way that newspapers are dying.
