hmm, curiously has shades of the Nadia/Pixie affair...in the latter case some stated words along the lines she knew she didn't have rights to her pics, but one wonders whether models are pushed (gently) into signing away their rights? That said there's two sides to every story of course, and if a model might get more money upfront by signing away rights and regret it later, it wouldn't be unusual (not that I know much about the industry!).
