Kanye West vs The Jews is gonna sell a lotta lotta popcorn...

On a side note this is Dave Chappelle's monologue from SNL where he references both Kanye West and Kyrie Irving.

"It's not a crazy thing to think the jews run hollywood, but it's a crazy thing to say out loud"
Valid point. I kinda think that's part of rump's appeal - he said a lot of things which a good portion of Americans were thinking, but politicians couldn't say in public.
But there's also a good reason why people usually don't say these things out loud.

I am from Los Angeles and can drive to Hollywood in about 10 minutes. I have been a fly on the wall and heard Jewish people, when they were in a group, claim they run Hollywood and the Media. Whether they were kidding or bragging I've heard the same thing at a volume I could hear a decent number of times. Can we remove our heads from the sand now? No one is calling for the killing of anyone.

He started off right: "Early in my career, I learned there are two words you should never say together. Those words are...'the' and 'Jews.' Never heard someone do good after they said that."

🤷‍♂️

Really? If someone were to say to me, "Jews have a disproportionate amount of representation in the Entertainment business based upon their 2.4% population in America", I would agree with that. Do you disagree with that and, if so, what would it take to convince you of that? As I mentioned Nepotism is real but it is not a capital offense.

You state a very real statistic concerning their representation in the overall population. No argument about it, but the argument rarely ends there though.

I am unable to locate your mention of nepotism (unless you used a synonym). Usually it doesn't factor into the discussions - hence my reluctance to engage in one.

You could provide the same argument for other races or religions. The word "Holocaust" should not be a brick wall used to stifle conversation.
Correct. It should not be used to stifle conversation. Unfortunately, it is an emotionally charged topic.

Of course the Holocaust happened but people like Benjamin Netanyahu should not be able use the topic as a tool to not only avoid accountability but commit many of the same atrocities he is condemning others for.
Again, you are correct. We are two relatively sane people discussing the topic. That is not always a given.

Thank you. We are all equal therefore no one is above criticism. We have all sinned against each other and against others as well. There are no Chosen People any more than there is a Master Race.

If somebody - in this case Kanye, and Dave Chappelle - want to make a point that a specific group - here, a religious group - controls a business, they need to get the numbers on the table. Should be hard to do, how would you do that? Find everybody in, say, the music business, and make them produce paperwork with proof of religious beliefs?

The point is not about religion in the first place, it is about them feeling they do not have the control and do not get enough of their fair share, and then throw the shame on the jews, like my grandparents' generation did, here in Germany. And now we have some brothers try the same?

I don't care too much for Ye, but I thought Chappelle would not go down that road.
