Just saw Jessica Jaymes on VH1's Sober House...

She is friends with Mary Carey and is seeing another of the participants "Seth" (aka Shifty) who is/was in the band "Crazytown". Seth came over to Jessica's and was wasted then smoked a bunch of crack, said he had done heroin earlier, took some X and then stole 300 Xanax from Jessica. When they showed up at Jessica's place she was really strung out and someone had punched her in the face pretty bad. She is pretty much a train wreck and looked like shit. I think she is the stereotypical "crack whore", which is is a shame considering how beautiful she can look...

I found the rehab show interesting because of the therapy, Sober house just looks like crazy shit. Is it any good?

I haven't been able to watch a full episode of it. It is all about the drama. Dr. Drew is not there enough to add any legitimacy. But it was fun to see other pornstars besides Mary Carey.

Yeah, I heard they had Mary Carey on there. Kind of wish she wasn't though. I'm all for mainstream exposure of pornstars, BUT I feel that it is detrimental to portray pornstars as druggies.

I realize that the sex drugs and rock and roll lifestyle are common among many of these girls, but I'd rather see well balanced women get the exposure and media attention.

I feel you. But I think the only healthy and well balanced porn stars are some of the Milfs who are new to the business. Whenever you have young people living in a big city who make a shitload (I know it isn't Donald Trump money, but compared to other people their age it is a lot) of cash, you are bound to have a lot of drug abuse problems. Especially because their jobs don't require them to work 9 to 5 5 days a week like the rest of us.

Yeah I know. Its just that the porn industry gets a double whammy: They operate in a socially questionable trade already, but the drug use just pushes it way beyond the edge of "edgy" Rock stars can get away with it since most people can appreciate the music enough to forget about the drugs that go with it.

The cracked out druggy lifestyle is probably closer to the truth for most of the industry. Putting out just the handful of well adjusted intellectual ones for the world to see would sort of be like lying.
