I guess debates aren't his strength. I sure as hell wouldn't vote Obama though:D

joe the plummer should meet joe six-pack.

Chloe is voting Obama. Does the erection suffer because of this..? Tonight on FOX NEWS!

Yep I see the pattern here...anything McCain does is stupid, proof of alzheimer, old coot, racist, angry old man, lost, frail, about to kick the bucket.

Anything Obama does is out of this world, perfect, he is so good looking, well spoken, intelligent.

Conclusion: This is another kiss Obama's ass thread.

It's such an intelligent, well-formed ass! ::smooch::

Even without trying, this is how it ends up my dear Donnie Equines. :p It's difficult to praise a guy who has a fair chance of losing his temper or dying in the next 2 years.

I think I know from other posts of yours who you are refering to as the side who lies and the side who speaks the truth more. You think its republicans who are the the right side of that,am I correct? That is just an example I think of how people can watch the same things and just them so differently.I think it is overwhelmingly clear who had all the factors of credibility, respect, honesty and most off all competence in their favor and that would be the Obama/Biden ticket. And all the focus groups and polls after the debates support that.If I have you wrong and you were actually saying it was Obama/Biden who was clearly more credible then I apologize for mis-reading your post.:dunno:

Oops, try again.

I'd have to be a complete idiot to think that. McCain keeps grinding his teeth and repeating the same old bullshit that's already been shot down, while Obama just smiled through it and had an answer for everything.

Except this "fine" that McCain keeps bringing up about uninsured people. Obama has not denied it, nor has he explained anything about it. He seems to be trying to ignore it completely.

Ok my apologies. On the fine thing I think Obama explained it in pretty good detail in the last debate. It would not apply to small buisness only to the larger corporations like a walmart who could easily afford to give all its employees coverage but only gives it to about 50% of them. That means these people end up when they get sick getting care that the rest of us pay for.If we are ever to be like all the other countries that have universal systems that means everyone must be in it.When McCain talks about you can buy a plan for $5800 most places that is only if you are young and very healthy and even then I think that sounds real low as a number. And if your young and real healthy you are less apt to think you need coverage and just opt out of buying anything.Insurance of any type needs both the higher and lower risk types included to be workable.Truth is I think we need a single payer universal system such as most countries have. They are much cheaper and give better results health wise. And while Obama won't say this his plan would lead to that. When he says you can eitheir keep what you got now from your employer or can join the same plan that him and other govt employees get and pay the amount they pay for it which is lower than you could ever buy insurance on your own as not part of a group that will just lead eventually because of economies of scale to everyone being part of that plan. What your employer is paying in almost all cases for your health care with some private insurance plan will be much higher. That will mean the eventual end of the "for profit" private health insurance industry and good riddance I say.

Just as I suspected Joe the Plumber is full of shit when he says that he wants to buy his bosses $250k plumbing business. First of all records show that his bosses 'taxable' income was less than $100k/year & Joe makes around $40k. Less than 2% of small businesses make over $250k & McCain is trying to make this clown some type of working class hero when Obam's plan will not effect him NOR his boss & McCain & the GOP work against their best self interest.

As I have said before the GOP has successfully, over the past 45 years, convinced many working class Whites (especially in the South )that their Party works for them. The GOP is ANTI UNION,for decreasing taxes for corporations/wealthiest in society, 'unfair' free trade policies that causes OUTSOURCING of American jobs,etc......yet working class voters like JOE swear by the GOP.:dunno: They have used emotional wedge issues like abortion, race, gay rights, welfare,"American values',etc..... to make guys like Joe the unlicensed Plumber think of the Democratic Party as the enemy. When in fact the Dems tirelessly work for the working class & poor .

The secret ingredient? MY BALLS
I'm watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and he just said something that kind of opened my eyes a little bit more to the whole "Sarah Palin" issue. He was talking about Joe the Plumber and how the media fell in love with him at first and has slowly, but surely, begun to dig up dirt on him and bash him in the press now. So, he said...

"Why are you (the media) bashing this guy? He's already done more interviews than Sarah Palin!!!"

Which is, sad...but very, very true. This meaningless guy has given more interviews and has appeared publicly more times than Sarah Palin (a VICE PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE) in a matter of just a few weeks. :dunno:

You & Stewart must have missed Palin's hard hitting investigative interviews with Limbaugh & those other FOX news 'Journalist'(?)':1orglaugh
Her candicacy is a joke.

Joe Biden has given near, or over, 100 interviews/press conferences since he became the nominee & I only count Gibson & Couric as serious interviews by Palin & they were creampuffs. And although Biden has made his share of mistakes(JOBS/ three letter word) he does expertly understand the issues unlike Palin who is clueless.

That is a sad when in a democracy the public has no access to the candidates we are asked to vote for.

I think in the future if candidates are receiving PUBLIC financing like McCain/Palin are they should be REQUIRED by to give at least 2 or 3 Press conferences per week.:dunno:

Also if you are given PUBLIC financing like McCain/ Palin you shouldn't be allowed to make attacks on your opponent in your ads ,but instead make the case on your own behalf.:dunno:

By the way I read someplace(Bloomberg?) that JOE the Plumber would only pay an extra $773 dollars under Obama's tax plan if he were to make $280k.
I believe under obama's plan he is only going to be taxed for the extra $30k over $250k & not a peeny more for the first $250k. I would give my left nut to move up to that tax bracket! And JOE the plumber is bitching although he may ever ever attain it unless he capatalizes on his 15 minutes.

Palin won't do interviews because she doesn't know what the fuck she is talking about. She is just a pretty face picked to get a few extra votes.

Say it ain't so, Joe!:weeping:

Earlier this week, Joe the Plumber decided to :ak47: John McCain. If someone could create a "throw them under the bus" smiley I would've used it.

Is there anyway this numbskull can be taken seriously again:rolleyes:

Joe the Plumber: McCain 'appalled me'
Andy Barr Andy Barr Tue Dec 9, 5:22 pm ET

Joe Wurzelbacher lashed out Tuesday at former GOP presidential nominee John McCain, the man who made Wurzelbacher famous as “Joe the Plumber.”

Wurzelbacher told conservative radio host Glenn Beck that he felt “dirty” after “being on the campaign trail and seeing some of the things that take place.”

Recalling a conversation he had with McCain about the $700 billion financial industry bailout in September, Wurzelbacher said: “When I was on the bus with him, I asked him a lot of questions about the bailout because most Americans did not want that to happen.”

“I asked him some pretty direct questions,” he continued. “Some of the answers you guys are gonna receive — they appalled me, absolutely. I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.”

Asked why he didn’t leave McCain’s campaign if he was “appalled” by the candidate, Wurzelbacher said, “honestly, because the thought of Barack Obama as president scares me even more.”

While Wurzelbacher was critical of McCain during the interview, he had nothing but praise for his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. “Sarah Palin is absolutely the real deal,” he said.:1orglaugh

And so Joe throws down the Sarah Palin 2012 gauntlet?

Geez....isn't this guy's 15 minutes up already???

Perhaps he and Sarah Palin can be the King and Queen of the Republican Party for the next couple of years. What else has ol' Joe got to do?:dunno:

One thing that does puzzle me is that if Joe ever gets off his lazy ass or if he decides to take his career and life seriously someday, and he ACTUALLY becomes a Plumber...won't he join a Local Plumber's Union? Does Joe support the trashing of the Auto Workers Union by the Republican Party?
