Everyone fails to mention that he would only have 1 championship under the points system that Petty, Earnhardt, and Gordon won their more impressive titles under.

Hey, there are rules, everyone knows them (even if they suck) going in, and the guy acknowledges them and finds a way to win.

I could probably make the argument that some of those guys wouldn't have won alot of their titles under this system.
