'Jesus-era' burial shroud found

team of archaeologists and scientists says it has, for the first time, found pieces of a burial shroud from the time of Jesus in a tomb in Jerusalem.

The researchers, from Hebrew University and institutions in Canada and the US, said the shroud was very different from the controversial Turin Shroud.

I hope that shroud isn't shrouded in mystery. Like the shroud that covered the face of (insert history-type figure here).
 
Can we send this over to CSI--I bet the gang could swab it, fingerprint it and maybe close a bunch of cold cases from antiquity? :dunno:
 
With early religious relics and the large number of fakes that have been made throughout history it's just better to assume that unless God himself comes and tells you it's real, it's probably a fake.
 
How did they find it? Was it purchased on Home Shopping Judea back in the days of A.D. 30 and last week, finally, maildude found the effort to deliver the package to Mr. Saul Finkelstein of Nazareth?
