The spring nuptials of Jennifer Love Hewitt and Ross McCall were called off in a hurry by the actress, even though she already had bought a dress.
"We are working it out," McCall told US magazine. "We are both still wearing our rings."
The magazine quotes a former costumer supervisor from "Ghost Whisperer," who says Hewitt was "needy and immature." "She would drag him on the set and then pout and they'd fight. Mainly, it was her needing something from him: 'Can you say you love me?' " according to Claudia Wick.

If this is true, (and who knows what is true from the gossip magazines) it wouldn't suprise me that she would be a woman with that, "do you love me?" attitude towards a guy.
She's always come off as a hopeless romantic. That doesn't make her bad, it's just who she is, and some guy have a hard time dealing with a woman that always has to/wants to hear that.
