Adult film star Jenna Jameson reveals she quit the industry to give her twin baby boys chance of a 'normal' childhood


Jenna Jameson has revealed that giving birth to twins sparked her decision to quit her lucrative career as a porn star - and says she won't even do lads mags anymore.

The former sex movie worker - widely acknowledged as the world's most famous 'adult entertainment performer' - says she felt that giving up her job and covering up was the only way she could give 19-month old boys Jesse and Journey a 'normal' upbringing.

And when it comes to telling her sons what their mother's job used to be, Jenna, 36, told the December issue of W Magazine: 'I really don't think I need to say, "Mommy was a porn star".

'I feel like they're going to know me and think, Mommy loved us so much that she quit everything and made us her job.

'I thought, "I'm getting rid of these things. I don't need them anymore". The moment I decided to have children I quit. I won't even do a Maxim cover.'

Jenna is now enjoying a peaceful life in the countryside of California with partner Ultimate Fighting Championship star Tito Ortiz, 35, after selling her $30million (£18.6million) porn empire to Playboy in 2006.

She added: 'Here, I'm not "Jenna Jameson" - I'm just one of the moms who walk a double stroller every day

'I'm a normal girl with all the same worries and insecurities. I just happen to have done porn.'

Also known as the Queen Of Porn, Jenna began acting in erotic videos in 1993 having previously done stripping and glamour modelling.

The Las Vegas born lass became a huge success and went on to found her own business Club Jenna in 2000, which started off as a website and soon branched into making its own movies.

It was this ongoing concern she sold to Playboy, the first step towards putting her porn past behind her.

Jenna however has been gradually crossing over into mainstream culture for a few years.

She's had a variety of acting roles in movies and on television, and is said to be considering a singing and acting stage career.

It's been reported that she's considering making her Broadway debut in the musical Rock Of Ages.

She was/is one probably the most widely known porn babe ever...seems to me the normal life horse for J&J has already left the barn.

She can give them a normal 'upbringing' but I'm sure there will be many occasions for them to stumble upon or be alerted to mom's former career. I suppose at some point through her efforts they will deal with it but it will be anything but 'normal' IMO.

Besides, did she think anyone who's name was not Nina Hartley could do porn forever??

A "normal" upbringing is what she can give them, but they find out that she was porn star. Hopefully she tells them and not some kid at their school when they start going.

I agree with you HM, but by the time her twin boys reach puberty and know all about the birds and the bees, there will probably be a few more porn chicks with the distinguished "world's most famous adult entertainment performer" title by then. Maybe 15 years from now, PORN in the US won't be so taboo anymore. I wish her luck and success.

Let's not forget about the twin boy's father, the Huntington Beach Bad Boy, Tito Ortiz is also in the limelight in trying to recapture his old glory. Will the twins have some chance in a normal life? Then again, can't see much MMA future in Tito due to his recent losses to Griffin and Hamill. Maybe he can teach the twins MMA so they can defend themselves if bullied due to mom being a former Porn Star. Another avenue, the twins can tell other kids that their father was former UFC LHW champion of the world.

A bit tasteless perhaps, but true nonetheless. If porn does become more and more mainstream by the time her kids are old enough to surf the 'net, then there might not be much of a problem, but I guarantee they are going to be teased unmercifully in high school about having a MILF, though Jenna will be nigh on 50 years old when that happens so it depends on how well she ages.

Don't get me wrong i wish her all the best, but we all know that once you do porn it stays with you, you can't get away from it. Considering she's a world wide star as well.

The truth is these kids will eventually find out, and when they do the fact that she quit wouldn't make any difference.

I suppose if she moved to a different country were porn is illegal then maybe there will be a chance, but it would be remote at that.

Yeah. These kids aren't going to have a normal life. Most kids accidentally walk in on their parents, maybe find a tape because it has a different label and they thought the kid(s) would never want to see something about the Industrial Revolution of 1995, or they might have to ask mommy and daddy about sex.

Instead these kids will google their mother one day either out of let's google mommy because we are cute internet savvy kids and will tell mommy we found something about her on the internet! Or because kids at school joke around with them and they either A) told them google your mom or B) they are wondering why there are dirty jokes about their mother and look to the internet for answers.

She will most likely tell them about it in a very vague way.

Mommy did films when she was younger. Until she had you two. Now here we are. Oh and I am unable to come to any school events due to being a big distraction. I love you both!

I do hope the best. Though it will be far from normal. Especially when high school comes around.
