What do they believe in and what’s the cover charge to go to Heaven?

If they do not want to join the army, they must be released from this obligation.

Nope. The Law applies to everyone, rich or poor, black or white, christian, jew, muslim or atheist, etc.
That's the very base of a civilised nation based on the Law of the Land.

I do not like Jehovas Witnesses. Having said that I couldn't care less about saluting a freaking flag.
Making a motion with your arm does not make one patriotic. Criticizing a county's government does not make one un-patriotic, in fact its probably one of the most patriotic things one can do.
Or should one just automatically agree with everything the US does? Sing Oh Say Can You See and worship Old George? Call him your father. Question nothing. Know your place. Don't rock no boats. And go to war and die for whatever they tell you the reason is?
Is that what being patriotic really is?
I also feel that most governments, especially the USA are run by lunatics and evil people. They seem to be the ones who control everything. Bad people.
I can't however get on board with any religion which goes door to door trying to recruit people.

True crime story of one fucked up Jehovas Witness. Very interesting.

- It may be that some Jehovah's Witnesses who live in the countryside have guns, but they have a negative attitude towards the weapons and the violence.
These are complicated things.
Jehovah's Witnesses believe that some people will go to heaven and some will live forever on earth.
This does not mean that people who do not go to heaven are not saved.
It may mean that not all people can fit in the same place.
It's worth discussing with them sometimes.
They are very friendly people and they have a lot to tell.

Without trying to be mean, you let them in your house then try to get rid of them.
I've dealt with them I believe 3 times. Younger and dumber mp showed them normal human respect and in doing that could not get them out of my face for a long time.
The last time I told them dont come back to this house and closed the door in their face.
And as far as what they have to tell?
Its simple. Believe what they believe and join them. If you don't you are going to burn in Hell.
Fuck. Them.
You have to calm your mind and listen to what they are trying to tell you.
They just want to help you so if you sacrifice your time for a few minutes it's not too much to ask for.

I put up a sign on my front door saying No Solicitors, No Holy Rollers, No Exceptions. It works good as I don’t get annoying people ringing my doorbell trying to peddle their hogwash.

Signs may go unnoticed so you could open the door and politely tell them that you are not interested.
After that they will no longer come to you.

The sign is hung directly below the doorbell. There is no way someone couldn't see it. It works better than good.
Opening the door and being polite sometimes doesn't work as smoothly as you might think. Many of these people are persistent about getting donations and can be shameless in their behavior. The sign is the most civilized way to handle them.
