Jay Mohr-Nikki Cox

LOS ANGELES (AP) - Jay Mohr and Nikki Cox are engaged, Cox's publicist announced Friday.

The couple plan to marry next winter, publicist Alisha Mahon said.

Cox plays Mary Connell on the NBC series "Las Vegas." She and Mohr, host of "Last Comic Standing," met when Mohr guest-starred on the Sin City drama, Mahon said.

Mohr, a comedian, has appeared in films including "Jerry Maguire,""Go" and "Suicide Kings." He was a member of "Saturday Night Live" from 1993-1995.

Cox, 27, was previously engaged to comedian Bob Goldthwait.

Mohr, 35, was married to model Nicole Chamberlain for six years. They had one child together before divorcing in 2004.


I hope the press doesn't make up a nickname for this couple. Can you imangine hearing about MohrCox all the time?

Good for them. Both have been a couple of my favorites and I hope their marriage can withstand itself in this crazy era of celeb relationships:thumbsup:

I wasn't really a big fan of Mohr until his Fox show "Action." Another brilliant Fox show that couldn't make it for some reason, like "Arrested Development" and "Family Guy" its first time around.

Wow, I didn't know about their engagement. I've been a fan of Nikki Cox ever since I saw her cameo on Baywatch. I mean watching her on "Unhappily Ever After" as the sexy tease. And doing one episode of California Dreams.
