Michael Myers.

He's a hell of a lot scarier to me because he could be anywhere. In order to have an encounter with Jason - at least initially - you had to go to the camp.Michael Myers could be anywhere;in any average suburban neighborhood.....like the one I grew up in.

...come to think of it; that shit still scares me.

What makes them both so scary is what we don't know about them; despite what the later films (tried to) tell us.
