So what about the riots in LA in 93?
It wasn't only the truck driver who was ripped out of his vehicle and beaten.
It was hundreds of non black people. Many were killed.
Beaten to death on the steet because of their skin color.
Some got lucky and just got their windows smashed.
So that wasn't racism against whites?
One day that may happen in every city in the country simultaniously.
It ain't like the victims will have guns to protect themselves.
I can name dozens of very real situations of racism against whites in current times, saying racism is a one way street just isn't true.
Jackie Mason is a washed comedian & NO(not one) legitimate Black Civil rights groups (Not even Sharpton)have demanded an apology, a boycott of Mason or anything. This is a media creation/reaction(who thrive on controversy) to ONE single person walking out of a show.
But I knew this thread would be an oppurtunity for a few posters to vent & spout off half truths & misinformation.
The LA Riots were simply not a Black/White affair & a majority of those arrested were in fact Latinos(of European or Mestizo ancestry)
Latinos arrested in LA Riots(4307) & Blacks arrested in LA Riots(3083)
(And before anyone can make the crude joke; no it is not because they couldn't run as fast as Blacks
)
Everything really isn't as Black & White as many posters here try to make it seem.

The riots hit Latino areas like Koreatown & Pico Union hardest. And no mention of the Blacks who rescued Denny ,nursed his wounds & then drove Denny in an 18 wheeler ,that they really couldn't drive, to the Hospital. And the fact that Denny was very forgiving towards his attackers & didn't blame entire commuties for the action of a few.How typical that people only focus on a miority of thugs instead of the Millions of Blacks/Latinos who were upset/afraid/embarrassed by the riots.
Again no one has formally been outraged at this old washed up man & Sharpton even professed a little sympathy for him. A none issue.
