Jackass star Ryan Dunn killed in 'high-speed' crash as Porsche explodes into fireball

Re: Jackass star Ryan Dunn killed in 'high-speed' crash as Porsche explodes into fire

It doesn't matter if it is legal or not; driving after having a few drinks is fucking retarded. Teabagging sleeping grizzly bears is legal too, but I don't see anyone going out and trying that.

5 to 6 drinks in a span of 3 to 4 hours for a seasoned vet' like Dunn isn't going to do much, especially if he's had something to eat.

I'm not going to be apologetic for the man because, again, I've yet to see/hear the specifics. I'm just sayin'.

As for everyone else feeling sorry for his deceased friend I don't see the correlation, seeing as, in my mind, he is just about as guilty for having let his friend get behind the wheel himself.

Re: Jackass star Ryan Dunn killed in 'high-speed' crash as Porsche explodes into fire

After an accident reconstruction, Police Chief Michael Carroll told RadarOnline.com that the Porsche 911 was going "about 130 mph" when the accident happened in a reported 55-mph zone.

"I've never seen a car destroyed in an automobile accident the way this car was even before it caught on fire," Carroll said. "The automobile actually came apart. It was unbelievable and I've been on a lot of fatal accident scenes. This is by far the worse I've ever seen."

Although there has been heavy speculation as to whether the group's night of partying had a direct influence on the fatal crash, the tragedy has been labeled an 'auto accident' rather than a 'DUI,' pending the results of a toxicology report, which will be available in four to six weeks

Dunn had a serious pair of balls to do 130. I've had my car topped at 100 (when the governor turned on ) on the freeway and fark me that alone scared me. I can't imagine doing 130.

If you:

- Have even a few drinks, you are diminishing your ability to drive.

- Drive 130 mph, drunk

- Drive 130 in a 55 mph zone

You are asking for at least an accident

And if you kill another person in the process, your death is deserved.

This is not hating. This is disgust.

Do you believe in the death penalty?

PHILADELPHIA – "Jackass" star Ryan Dunn had a blood-alcohol content that was more than twice the legal limit for drivers when he and a passenger died in a fiery one-car crash this week, according to a toxicology report.

The report said Dunn's blood-alcohol level was 0.196 at the time of the crash early Monday morning. The legal limit for drivers in the state is .08.

The report was released Wednesday by West Goshen Township Police.

Police say Dunn may have been going as fast as 140 mph when his Porsche veered off the roadway, went airborne and crashed into the woods in a Philadelphia suburb.

Dunn, 34, and his passenger Zachary Hartwell, died early Monday after they left a bar in West Chester. Dunn had tweeted a photo from the bar of the pair and a third man drinking just hours before the crash. The photo has since been taken down.

Police said that Dunn's Porsche may have been traveling as fast as 140 mph in the 55 mph zone when it jumped a guardrail, flew into a wooded ravine, struck a tree and burst into flames.

The 30-year-old Hartwell was credited as a production assistant for the second "Jackass" movie.

Mourners placed flowers and took photos at the accident scene in West Chester, while Facebook and Twitter were buzzing Tuesday with condolences from fans around the world and friends from Hollywood to Chester County.

Dunn was born in Ohio and moved at age 15 to Pennsylvania, where he met fellow "Jackass" cast mate Bam Margera on his first day of high school, according to a biography posted on his website.

Agreed. Sorry, but I feel zero pity for this guy. Its a miracle that he only took out one person...if he hadn't had this accident, he could have (and likely would have) gone on to drink and drive again, and the results could be much much worse ie. snuffing out the lives of, say, an innocent family.

And I feel that all of us have the full right to judge this asshat all we want, because every time we put our vehicles on the road (a daily occurrence for most) our safety is at the mercy of dipshits like this. Would you not judge a man who runs around in a crowd with a loaded gun and tries to see if he can shoot without hitting someone? No, you wouldn't. You'd call him a crazy asshole. Driving while under the influence, and driving DANGEROUSLY (seriously, speed limits are there for a reason) means that you at the very least shouldn't have the right to drive...and IMO, shouldn't have the right to live. Putting other peoples lives at huge risk like that just isn't right...no one should have the right to do that. So sick of seeing him being glorified...yes I feel really bad for his family and the family of his passenger but as far as I'm concerned, he took himself out and potentially saved other lives that could have been lost in the future. :2 cents:

(and for what its worth, I lost my ex in 2003 because of a dumbass who drove erratically, sped through a stop sign and t-boned my ex's vehicle. I've felt the pain of fucktards snuffing out an innocent life due to negligence while driving and trust me, it doesn't feel good)

i feel sad because he was my favorite of the bunch, but if its true that he was twice the legal limit then i gotta knock him down a few pegs and not feel so sorry. you have a brain. sometimes u gotta use it and that night ryan dunn didnt use his brain. maybe my cousin will learn from this .... probably not! he does it every night! i am praying he gets caught to teach him a fucking lesson, especially when you need a license to drive for your job!.
RIP ryan dunn

BTW how does the police have his blood/alchohol levels already? anytime i have ever heard someone die its always 4-6 weeks until the results. but this result took 2 days?

I don't know, but fairly or not things often happen through the system a lot quicker for celebrities. :dunno:

As far as his death goes I try to hate what people do and not people themselves. I would have rather he not killed himself and his passenger, and I would rather he had did things smarter. I just hope people learn from it, although things like this happen everyday and people often don't.

And he is American, remember? So why are you wasting your prescious time on a worthless, dead American anyway? Aren't you so much higher up than us? :thefinger

Re: Jackass star Ryan Dunn killed in 'high-speed' crash as Porsche explodes into fire

I have no pity for drunk drivers who kill themselves. Good riddance to em! Shame the other person had to die too, but then again, how fucked up was he/her to let the other guy drive? Getting in a car with someone who's driving drunk is just as fuckin stupid as driving drunk. So 2 morons died. Who cares? And why do I still have to hear about this shit now 3 or 4 days after the fact?

Now for the speeding...I really can't say shit about that. I drive fast, not excessively fast, as my car isn't the right kind for such shenanigans. However if I had something like a Porsche or better...I would push the needle on more than only a few occasions! IMHO 130 kinda slow for a Porsche. I'm curious how fast he was going before he hit the brakes?
