Jack In The Box Now Has Chiliburgers! Pinch Me Because I Must Be Dreaming... Of Chiliburgers! You Can Even Get A Double! OMG, Right?

Ever since the Big Tomy's on Pico Bl/Sawtelle Bl had that huge grease fire and burned down I haven't had Chiliburgers as often as I would like. I am pleased to report that I can now buy Chiliburgers at the Jack In The Box over on Santa Monica Bl/Veteran Ave which is even closer to my house. This is such exciting news. Thanks Jack! Thanks Joey!

Tommy's is so good! Don't start with me.

I'd be surprised if these were half as good as Tommy's.

What do I care? I live in Michigan. Also, ask Joey how he'd feel about doing a Saturday morning kid's show...you know, with puppets and dinosaurs and creepy neighbors popping in.

On Saturday I will be having a Double Chiliburger from Jack In The Box. I'll let you guys know how it is. Gonna get a Large Curly Fries and Large Coca-Cola too.

So Sunday I decided to get the new Double Chili Cheeseburger from Jack In The Box. I get the burger home and check it out. There is such a little amount of chili they must have spread it with a knife like mustard. I was upset right away. It was just meat, cheese, onions, mustard, bread, and a booger of chili. Lucky for me I'm the type of fella that always has chili in the house. I can fix the burger but I cannot rate the burger since I altered the burger. I will say I do not recommend ordering a Chiliburger from Jack In The Box. This is according to my experience but your local Jack In The Box may be more generous with the chili.

After making the burger open-faced, smothering it with Wolf Brand Chili, then heating it all up a bit in the oven everything tasted good.

There's just no getting around it. Tommy's or bust.

Dude, seriously? You have never thought to open a can of chili for the dogs at a barbeque, and in a fit of instantaneous brilliance, spooned a glob on a burger, then spread ranch dressing on the bun, instead of your typical condiment fare

Blue cheese dressing works good to.

I'm not much for Ranch Dressing but don't hate it with a passion like Joey Diaz does. Bleu Cheese is good though.

We haven't had a Jack in the Box around here for 35 or 40 years. Was awful then, still?

I could tell you, but why not spend 5 bucks and go a journey to your local Yak in a Bag and let us know yourself. Life is an adventure, after all.

That does sound REALLY good. I used to make them with my homemade chili, and Ore Ida steak fries.

My sentiments exactly. Thirty five years ago they were in New York. There are none currently in the Northeast. For the closest one, I'd have to go to Ohio. And in Ohio, they are very limited in the locations. There are only two in the whole state of Ohio. One in Cincinnati and one in West Chester, Ohio.

Kind of agree with you Bubb. Most things were not edible. I used them after a hard night of heavy drinking. Had to get there before 11:30 pm (closing time) -- With all the Jack and waters I'd drink. Their food somehow settled my stomach.

Although, when they were in New York, their tacos were pretty good. I made it a point to get a few tacos during their "Taco Tuesday" specials. Those along with a side of nachos and a Coke, made for a good lunch.

Chiliburgers sound good, but for me they need to invent a technology to somehow hold the burger together. Sure you could eat all the parts that squeeze out of it separately, but then it's not really a part of the burger anymore. It defeats the purpose of having a chiliburger in the first place.
