-which states that a select few thought up this idea and thankfully, McNamara rejected it and I'd say it's possible he mentioned it to JFK, and obviously he didn't ask for the plans or consider them.
i just wanted to clear up any misconceptions anyone may have come to about American policy as a result of this article.
