OK people, yes another splinter thread. This from "Why is lust considered a sin?"
It made me think in many directions (so whats new ? lol)and I know many of you aren't religious but I'd like to hear some of the views on this.
Sex was only meant for procreation in the beginning and then it was discovered it felt good. Sodom and Gomorrah were destroyed, so they say, because of the extremity of the sin. Could it be we are now being left alone to destroy mankind on our own? Slowly paying for our sins of the flesh?
I don't know my Bible all that well, admittedly but I do remember something about the next time man will destroy man. Wars upon wars? A running sore that never heals? Cancer always came to mind on that one, but now Aids seems to fit?
Any thoughts? Please just conversation and friendly debate. Thanks.
