Is there any of the pornstars that has an reputation of being hard to work with?

Also, this is off-topic but since it was mentioned, why do you need 6-10 hours to shoot a scene that's like 20 minutes? What are they doing?

They shoot multiple scenes in a day of filming, they don't just call the star in to film one scene for one site. One 20 minute scene with hair, makeup and generally setting up the equipment takes hours to prepare for, and you can ask Dave in his thread how long it can take of filming in order to make sure you end up with 20 minutes of good looking footage. Then you've got getting cleaned up prior to starting hair and makeup for the next scene, and often waiting around the crew to finish filming someone else's scene before you can start your next one. Long days.

All industries have these lists and these lists are seldom shared - in any industry.

If another business wanted to know if a wholesale supplier delivered on time, I would tell him and if Aaliyah wanted to know if a performer shows up on time, I would tell her too, but I wouldn't share it with my customers or fans.

But of course.. that would just be unprofessional and gossip.

This is kinda like the thread I started. Without mentioning names, are there any guys on your no-list...besides me? Heh. If so, why?

Also, this is off-topic but since it was mentioned, why do you need 6-10 hours to shoot a scene that's like 20 minutes? What are they doing? Is that just features or are the gonzo ones like that too. I wouldn't think they would be since they're reality based. They usually look like they're filmed right through. You can tell which parts they stopped on.

Good photography takes time.. you don't just throw 2 good looking people on the bed and shoot them fucking for 20mins. Hair/makeup/setting up lights takes a solid hour and a half before you even start shooting.. then you have to shoot pics, which takes time, then you go back into makeup and they set up the room for video.. We fucked for about 6 hours to get 25 solid mins of footage for my babes scene. You have to constantly adjust the lighting, sound, etc when you switch positions.. That's why it takes more than a big dick and a willingness to fuck to become a male talent. These guys have super human strength and stamina! I'm still amazed/impressed every b/g shoot I do.. how do they do it?!:)

and why would you find it funny that you are already on some girls' no lists before you even start porn? I wouldn't be laughing at that if I were you..

HAHAHAHAHA!!! Was curious if there was some massive "BEWARE OF CRAZIES" List. lol

Seems that the question has been answered and not answered. In short there is a list. Its a word of mouth list, that would never get posted anywhere, but talent and directors all talk. We all know who is who and what the Offenders are doing and even what they are on (DRugs).

Everyone has their "No lists" and reasons for it. I have had tough days with good girls, but I chalk it up to the girl having an off day,(Which everyone does) or that the days shoot is Anal. Which means the girl hasn't eaten today or probably hasn't eaten since yesterday morning, no coffee and we are having a long scripted day. I take all of that into account when I shoot a girl not having a great day or a great attitude before I make any judgments or put a girl on my "No List". Im an easy guy to work for so when I tell another director what happened, they don't question, they just add the offender to their No List". And there are director friends when they give me a heads up on a talent, I don't question.

My No List is 4 people almost 5.

The 1st two are because of Drugs. And I'm not talking Pot. Im talking passing out on set and staying in the bathroom 6 hours, type of drugs.

3rd one is a particular girl who was a pain i the But, costed me $1500 on a shoot and the no showed the make up day to get me my last 15 min of footage and the location Kill fees were an additional $200 on top of the $1500 that I lost from days previously. This is money I will never get back. And I made no money those days. Im thinking drugs there too, but don't know for sure.

4th is a girl I used to see for ever ago, and if I shot her, my girlfriend would straight kill me! lol

The almost 5th girl, is just a mean person. Was very mean to everyone, complained, and complained about everything. Just not a nice person. And when she makes my list, I pass on it. If me and this person talk, it can be worked out, no biggie. At least its not drugs right? lol

Funny thread though.

Amazing how often drugs are the reason a person makes the list. :busted:

Actually, many times you do just shoot one scene for one site. And it can take all day long. I've had shoots for one scene where I was on set for 12 hours total.

Yeah if you're shooting solos you usually shoot more than 1 scene in a day, but if it's g/g or b/g, you usually only shoot 1 scene in a day. And that takes anywhere from 6-15hours.

If the dudes weren't hard to work with, they probably wouldn't be working with them in the first place.
