No. Django was waaaaay better. They really tried to stretch The Hobbit out in some places. Certain scenes were way too long.

It's about the journey, not the destination. Besides Jackson had to use "creative license" in order to move the characters into the next part of the book, because the book was vague in some points. Trilogy's sell better than just two movies anyway.
