I notice quite alot more girls with tattoos in porn and I`m wondering is it now more tolerable for the more mainstream porn audience?

There are a lot more girls with tattoos in porn because more women in general are getting tattooed than ever before, so you see more of them in porn just like you see more of them at the shops or on the beach. Whether it's more tolerable is fairly irrelevant, the studios would simply have fewer girls to cast from if they stuck to girls without them. There is a more pronounced niche for the heavily tattooed girl like Bonnie Rotten than ever before, but in terms of a girl showing up with a wristband, something small just above the bikini line and a design on their spine or shoulder... that's just girls these days. They're all at it.

In a weird way, I almost wish there were fewer girls with tattoos in porn, even though I don't have a problem with them, because I get so sick of reading the endless bullshit of people complaining about them.

For the most part, I have no objections. Only if they're extensive (think Bonnie Rotten/Christie Mack) or on the hands, fingers/thumbs, or above the collar will I outright dislike them. I like piercings, though, and wish more women would get them. Either that, or folks would stop editing them out of photos.

I'm sure there is some studies around stating that the proportion of girls inclined to (as an example) receive a facial is higher in "tatooed" population than "normal" population...
which might explain a part of tatoos growing popularity in porn
