I didn't really like Apocalypse Now,and Pearl Harbor really wasn't very good,but it all comes down to one thing for me.One movie has Kate Beckinsale and one doesn't.For that reason,if both were put in my face and I was told to watch one,Pearl Harbor would win every single time.

But for the record,that doesn't mean that Pearl Harbor is a better movie.

Not even close. I prefer Apocalypse Now for it's dark themes and dark tones in the picture. The audience is watching hell right in front of their eyes, right in the jungles of Vietnam with a man on a personal vendetta. Amazing.
