There's James Deen and then there's James Dean.
The difference between him and most of the other male talent seems to be that he has a more successful, and very lucky, marketing campaign. (Okay, that and a lot of male talent are disgusting, jerks, or worse so it's not necessarily hard being better than them when you are in relatively small minority that aren't among them.) As far as being among the very few notable and good male talents in the history of porn, one of the few that can actually call themselves stars like the women, I just don't see it.
