I agree. Ask a doctor, they have heard everything so you don't need to be embarrassed. I know for instance that you can get an e coli infection from having your mouth in contact with any fecal matter. So if you're gonna do any rimming, find out the facts before you risk anything.

I learned long ago after an HIV scare of mine (I was negative, as it turned out) that it is silly (even if understandable) to worry what doctors think. If you have a long time doctor that you are embarrassed to talk to about it then go to a clinic to a doctor you will probably never see again and ask them.
Whatever the question they have almost certainly heard it, read it or thought of it before.

A lot of people are recommending asking your doctor, and if you cant face the GP, go to a Sexual Health clinic. These are anonymous and really only need you to make an appointment or fill in a quick application. In fact just say your popping in to ask one question. You may even get your answer over the phone. They have heard worse. In fact when I went for a checkup once the range of questions they asked me (especially with the botty region), made my eyes boggle. In fact I started laughing and couldn't stop. If you wanna try it out the 100 percent safe way, get some cling film from your kitchen draw, the thinner the better, plonk it over her cheeks and lick away.
