Is it ok to make fun of people with disabilities?

In my view it is not right and it is cruel to make fun of them.

Sometimes entertaintment series make fun of them and it is not so funny.

As long as you don't laugh at their depends, as long as they would laugth too, it's OK

People often ask me, "Ace, why are you so hard on assface?" And my response is always, "Because he's fucking retarded!" So, yes. It's okay.

I use to date this really hot chick that had an urostomy bag (*** bag, not **** bag.)

It depends. There was the Pryor/Wilder movie See No Evil, Hear No Evil. There is the scene in What Ever Happened To Baby Janewhere Joan Crawford's character said "You wouldn't do this if I wasn't in this wheelchair!". Betty Davis' character said "But you ARE in that wheelchair!". I think because of the delivery of the lines I thought it was funny. But if you are laughing at them instead of with them, then it is not acceptable.

When you think about it, saying things like "Duhhhh" or "That's retarded" falls under this, but I don't think people aren't as sensitive about them. Making fun of a specific person about their disability - definite no.

"I'm trying to be friendly towards people with disabilities, so I have to be patient with people who involved in my threads"

(assari)

Only if exploiting the person's misery and shortcomings makes you feel better about yourself or save a few bucks on your taxes.

The joke that is hard to be translated to English:

Nainen kysyy mieheltä:

"Mitä jos menettäisit jalkasi?

Mies vastaa;

"Sitten rullaan eteenpäin munillani"

:facepalm:

There is always some mitigating factor with assari because his name sounds like a Japanese guy apologizing in English.

assari-word is an abbreviation

assari = apulainen / assistant
