is it appropriate to subscribe to a porn site with photos of someone you know?

Always wondered about this. Is it appropriate to subscribe to a porn site where there are photos of someone you know--someone you've never seen nude before--without telling or asking them first. I'm referring to a situation where they don't know that you know about the site.

This happened to me once--where I found a site where a woman I knew (an acquaintance, not really a friend) posed and I subscribed--but I wondered what people thought.

With your friend being more of an acquaintance than a friend or family member I doubt she'd be overly shocked nor should you if she finds out. She's in a business where the intent is to make a living and your joining of this site helps both her and her employers.

Unless of course you are acquainted through church... that would be awkward.

This was actually a number of years ago--I'm attaching a photo of her from the site--she was actually an MBA student at Columbia at the time. This was fairly early in the Internet years and she was specializing in entrepreneurship and technology at Columbia--in those days most of the Internet sites to actually make money were porn sites. I think she simply saw posing nude as a responsible professional thing to do--she was doing a class e-commerce project and the obvious thing to do was a porn site. She was an attractive woman who was willing to pose nude to make it happen.

Yes her name is Lisa and she has big tits. I posted her photo earlier in this thread--the mods edited it to a link to her photo.

I guess the main thing I'm trying to figure out is whether it would change your view of porn--or of the woman in question--if you saw a woman you didn't expect to see in such a context posing nude on the Internet. Seeing her nude on the web definitely changed my view of porn. A number of posters have replied saying "it's great unless she is family" but isn't a friend who you didn't expect to find in this context a bit like seeing family there, albeit much less extreme.

Well she wanted them seen (and paid for) by as many people who didn't know her as possible. It is not at all clear whether she wanted the photos to be seen by those she did know--although of course she did take that risk.
