So your takeaway was that she is being railroaded? The most important point was that it was a YouTube video that sparked it and that has been proven to be a lie. They even pledged to prosecute the creator. So damning that Josh Earnest isn't even addressing it .

Not exactly, gain (financial or otherwise)as a result of a lie can be evidence and proof of the lie. Just because someone tells a lie that they believed to be truthful does not relieve them of culpability.
The intent was clear, to smooth the road to the election. It"s a good thing her testimony wasn't presented to a jury .
It WAS proven that she created the narrative. At that point you weigh any possible alternative decisions and statements to discern if the outcome would have been different had they decided to tell the truth about what really happened. Clearly that was established and that it would have been politically damaging. Meet your proof. Are you really reduced to her intent? Any reasonable person understands her intent and that of Rice was to deceive. By that metric and since you have a such a hard on for him, the same criteria could be used against GWB and the Iraq war with Hillary not coming out nearly as well off as Bush.

Nothing has been proven other than the fact that the Select Committee on Benghazi is an illegal partisan attack on Hillary Clinton. She made every Republican on the committee look as foolish as they truly are in her testimony yesterday, she owes them all a big sloppy thank you email for all their efforts. Since you can't post the "gotcha" moment where it was proven that Hillary Clinton lied about a youtube video that moment must not exist and you either lied about it or were engaging in wishful thinking, neither of which implicates Hillary Clinton.

Just go to Jim Jordan's questioning on YouTube . You know it's there and I understand that it makes you rather uncomfortable. And there is nothing illegal about investigating the deaths of Americans when the evidence points to dereliction of duty by government officials was the cause. Again her "good friend" and ambassador didn't have her email. She referred to him as Chris Smith. Let's take it that the YouTube video narrative was a mistake and nothing more. Her insistence to her daughter and diplomats that indeed it was a terrorist attack and not what she presented to the country proves that the job of POTUS is way above her head and even if there was nothing criminal about her actions, her negligence alone was worthy of the investigation.
That is neither here or there at this point. The FBI will ultimately have the say in whether she faces legal troubles. Far more severe than what Trey and his crew could ever produce. For someone that supposedly doesn't like Hillary you sure are riding her jock. Perhaps your main bone of contention is that it really could lead to Obama. Just a hunch.

For me this isn't about Hillary Clinton, this is about a gross miscarriage of justice, misappropriation of taxpayer funds to finance a partisan smear campaign, and abuse of the power of a congressional investigating body.

Yes it is an important point because we had a SOS that told grieving families on the tarmac that their loved ones died as the direct result of a YouTube video something that was patently false and it was told days after she told Egyptian and Libyan officials that it was a terrorist attack. In addition, the lie served a political purpose because it attempted to let the murderous thugs off the hook in exchange for placing the blame on a budding American filmmaker . Obama had the right campaign slogan last time around. "Forward". It was forward alright, at any costs and even if you had to lie to the American people to stay the course.
Hillary Clinton while giving her condolences to the father of one of the Americans killed in Benghazi said "we'll make sure that the person who made that film is arrested and prosecuted.”

As Hillary famously said, what difference does it make??? What difference does it make if it was caused by a video or it was a spontaneous act of terrorism? Would the 4 Americans be alive today had the administration called it terrorism? This is the part I don't get.
Leftists like you are so far off the deep end that of course it doesn't make any difference to you. Ask what difference does it make to people that have lost families members in any situation The reasons behind it make all the difference. As a family member I'd want to know what could have been done differently and how that would've prevented them from dying . Saying it was it terrorism would still have unfortunately resulted in 4 Americans dying. It changes nothing. I would be more focused on what went wrong and how can prevent this from happening again. It seems like the GOP is focused on the things that wouldn't have prevented these deaths.
That's my 2 cents....And back to 9/11 since that's what this thread is about after all
