Is FreeOnes Live shady?

I don't know if they're run by the same people or what the deal there is, but I was charged $200 for a $50 transaction today. I was chatting with a model and decided to buy 500 credits ($50 dollars) to tip with. My card was charged the $50 dollars that I authorized, plus another $100, then, instead of taking the tips from my 500 credits, I was charged another $50. My card was reimbursed the $100 dollars fairly quickly through CS, so no real complaints there, but the extra $50 dollars that I was charged is still on going $50, in itself, isn't a huge deal and I'm sure that I'd probably spend that much again fairly quickly, but the whole experience seems pretty shady to me and I'm curious if this type of thing happens all the time.

I am not sure what is going on in your case, but definitely ask their customer service about it.

I am actually on my way there right now as a normal user like you or anyone else to meet a special cam girl of mine right now. I have never been charged extra for anything. I even got those 120 free credits and have never had a single weird fee.

Maybe your card was just authorized the 100, and not actually charged. Either way, talk to their CS about it.

I did get the 120 credits for joining, too. They did reimburse my card the $100 charge very quickly. I do have 500 credits still from the extra $50, too. It was a misunderstanding on my part, I guess. After I bought the initial 500 credits to spend with the model, I guess I somehow opted to pay twice instead of having the tips and such taken from credits that I had just bought. Just seemed weird that there was even an option to double charge my card when I had the credits, so I guess I missed that. Certainly wasn't a pop up or anything asking my authorization with zip code or anything for the double charge, though.

I advise to wait until you get the detailed response from their customer service before judging too harsh.

Having worked for an Internet Service Provider in customer service, my experience is that your experience might be due to some system glitch thatdoes happen sometimes, but as every transaction is chronologically in their system, it is always checkable and the right solution is just a question of time.

Of course, such sudden billings is a really shocking thing, yet it will be resolved, I am sure.

My advice for credit card payment is:

Use a Prepaid Credit Card. Load it up with the amount you are willing and able to spend. You are safe from losing surprise unwanted payments that way.

Glad its sorted out! You had me worried. As a big cam junkie, I've yet to be stuffed by anyone, especially these guys. Glad it all worked out!
