Is Fallout 3 any good?

Its cool seeing the similar concepts to oblivion. i'd say its a great game.

I really loved Fallout 3. I wasnt sure what to expect when I bought the game, but I really got into it when I started playing. Make sure you get game of the year edtion so you have all the expansions. The expansions are pretty cool and some are worth trying to go through early on.

do you want a game that ends in 5 hours of gameplay? then stop playing!
do you want a game that you can just free roam and do anything you want for hours hours hours on end? then keep playing it will eventually become better when you get more weapons and better armor and stuff.
i saved this game 280+ times with well into 80+ hours of gameplay. KEEP PLAYING. if it ended in 7 hours you would be bitching it was too short and sucked!.KEEP PLAYING!

It's easy to get 80+ hours of gameplay from just the main story on this one. Then, when you add in all the dlc content your cruising to the 100 hour mark. It's a fantastic game filled with memorable moments and engaging gameplay. After I played this for a few hours, I found myself back in Fallout 2, enjoying that one just as much.

I love Fallout 3, I like 1 and 2 probably more, but F3 is still the best game I've played in last 3-4 years.
